I Binged the entire series of Demon Slayer.
I Watched the entire series of Demon Slayer along with the movie. Here are my thoughts/opinions of the whole series..... Let's first go over each season.
Demon Slayer Season 1: I'll be honest, I was a bit bored at first 7 episodes until Muzan was introduced, the way they introduced Muzan was good. Zenitsu became my favourite character almost instantly. The CGI was, I would say a bit rough compared to other seasons but was okay-ish . My Interest peaked at ep 19, the artstyle was good and unique. But the loud shouting comedy pissed me off, I didn't laugh at all, instead, the quiet moments were better, like Tanjiro giving that Nasty look to Zenitsu, when he met him.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train Movie: Felt a upgrade from last season but CGI on Train was rough. Really liked hype moments like when Zenitsu saved Nezuko and Rengoku fighting Akaza. The Emotional moment didn't hit at all tho.
Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc: felt a little bored at first but it was a good arc overall. Was glad to see more Zenitsu Screen time.
Demon Slayer Swordsmith village Arc: it was good but. I have a few questions, I assume the Village was the most important place for Demon Slayer, if yes then why did Muzan only fucking sent two upper rank demons? He could've went there himself with some upper rank demons and Devoured all the humans, no reinforcements by humans since they don't know the location of the village. This arc also felt predictable at some times. Like when Tanjiro injured his leg and was chasing the upper demon, I literally thought 'well, what if he uses Zenitsu's thunder breathing techniques?'. The Next scene was him remembering what Zenitsu said to him.
Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc: Nothing happened in this Arc except training..well it was still interesting to see Tanjiro train under other hashiras I guess..... Also in the Last episode, the way they showed Muzan's walk was not tuff🥀 .The animation quality went up alot in the last episode.
Demon Slayer Infinity Castle: The movie was good but I'm disappointed in Shinobu. All she did was launching herself towards Doma in Rage. When she died I said 'just like that?' she felt like a poorly written character. In the fight with Akaza, I felt like I needed more of Akaza fighting Tanjiro with Tanjiro's awakened form.
Overall thoughts:
I liked the artstyle in this series, it was unique. In terms of story. It was okay- ish I guess. I didn't like the loud humor. Only good moments of comedy were when they didn't use loud humor. For e.g. Tanjiro giving Nasty look to Zenitsu and When Tanjiro said "I can't accept you either" to the white haired Hashira, in the Hashira Training Arc.
The Emotional moments didn't hit at all in this show. Didn't shed a tear throughout the whole show. Even when Rengoku was dying they added the unnecessary scene of Inosuke headbutting Zenitsu, Like I'm tryna be sad here bruh. I didn't how they streched the fight scenes. Like sometimes, Tanjiro comes close to killing a Demons then some shit happens and he finally kills the demon 3-4 eps later.
It was worth watching, definitely not the best as many people would say, at least to me. It felt overrated and overhyped.Ufotable hard carried the show. After watching entire series I genuinely thought, how is this, this popular?
Comparing to Chainsaw Man Reze Arc (since people compare these two) I'll take Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Movie anytime in terms of anything.
Well, at the end of the day, it's night. We all here are trying to entertain us with the form of art that we love. It's subjective whether we like something or not. In this case, I just didn't like it as much as a Demon Slayer Fan. I have no hate towards the show.
Thank you for your Time!
