I'm looking for anime that talk about deeper or rare subject
I want some anime made with media literacy or at the very least not misogynistic like 80% of popular anime for some reason
among what I've already seen that correspond this description there's :
Evangelion, Claymore, Attack on Titan, lain, frieren, steins gate, psycho pass(not last season), Vinland saga, land of the lustrous, death parade, parasite, monster
also I'm planning to watch Ergo Proxy but you can hype me up on that one

It's an emotional ride, hope it counts
Allison & Lillia - Again, interesting plot points. It's somewhat similiar to Spy X Family, except we see it done on a generational basis so the series is split between the kids who then become adults, who in turn have kids, while essentially struggling with the same issues nations do. Again, some pretty heavy stuff.
Mushishi
I liked Vinland Saga and Claymore a lot. And the ones I just named go along with those.
Anyway a couple suggestions based vaguely on what you might be looking for.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - While largely an action / mystery anime the majority of everything in it centers around more serious or dark subjects/events. Religion, science, war, the value of a person, what it means to be alive, and such come up a lot.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex / 2nd GIG. - Harder for me to sell these as these aren't particularly to my taste, and I'm forgetting some of the specifics. That being said they're still very good, and there's a lot of conversation in them around the idea of being human, how people can influence others into doing bad things, and other more philosophical topics than I'm qualified to comment on.

ACCA
Mushishi- supernatural, very atmospheric, and subtle character drama
Mononoke - horror anthology, beautiful animation and world building
Kino no Tabi (2003, not the remake) - very atmospheric fantasy
Kyousougiga - charming story about family, one of my faves. It does not spoon feed any of the information so will need some media comprehension and an understanding of Buddhism and Shintoism would be super helpful.
I wasn't expecting to find a non-Frieren anime this season that goes this hard.
