Any anime with a main character like FILO?

Hi, I'm looking for some anime where the main character or one of the characters resembles Filo from the anime "the rising of the shield hero" I'm not looking for anything in particular, I just feel like I've seen characters like this before, thanks!

She kinda reminds me of index from a certain magical index but only in appearance

Thanks! I wasn't familiar with this anime, I'll check it out.

That's one hell of a deep rabbit hole FYI. Like three series, at least one movie that I know of, and the plot interweaves between them all through a number of seasons. Probably, looking up the watch order would be a good call. But IMO it's immensely popular and has been for a long time for pretty good reason.

I mean, her appearance is actually just Disgaea's Flonne (and unsubtly pointed out to boot).

I wasn't familiar with Disgaea, thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely watch it!

The anime is... not great. It was budget constrained and uses a far too early script of the actual game.

She shows up often in the games, at least. Top 3 character by popularity most of the time.

Literally came over here to comment this! Glad im not the only one

Index is similar but not personality wise. Same goes for Tanya who is a crashout. We have the main character of rozen maiden but she had a different personality too.

TioBit2026-01-13 06:16

I just checked out Rozen Maiden and it's immediately obvious they don't have the same personality haha, but I'll still watch it, thanks!

I am begging you don't twin. It is a literal torture because of how bad the animation is for the 90 percent of the series. Both seasons only have like 3 episodes that don't hurt your eyes and those are the last episodes of the seasons. The theme is peak tho l would say that l wasn't expecting that by any means

flonne from disgaea

Honestly, video game characters with similar designs come to mind before anime characters for me (Colette from Tales of Symphonia and Flonne from Disgaea). Oh, there is Mavis from Fairy Tail and maybe the Priestess from Goblin Slayer.
