I think he is one of those heroes who has died and been revived so many times that it has really affected him. I think something like that was mentioned in Episode 1.

To Your Eternity S1 was quite good though? Looking back, the rest of the show up to the island part was very good for me and consistent in quality. A better example would be a show like "The Detective is Already Dead" or "Ninja Kamui"
