Are the subtitles completely messed up for anyone else on Crunchyroll?

Metaldesi12026-01-13 14:15

Yup. Seems timing is way off.

Gaming_Truckie2026-01-13 14:18

Yeah they are, they appear to be the ones from last episode

ObvsThrowaway51202026-01-13 14:19

Yeah, classic CR. Wrong subs.

Galinhooo2026-01-13 15:22

They had the wrong chapter's subtitle. Good thing the portuguese ones were fine.

BlackGod2582026-01-13 15:30

Yeah i cant even watch the episode when its messed up like that

ActualRound76992026-01-13 15:48

still messed up for me. will probably wait until tonight to watch. hopefully giving them like 7 hours will get it fixed

Wyldbois2026-01-13 21:58

Heads up. 6 hours later and they’re still fucked up

ActualRound76992026-01-13 22:02

what a fucking joke

Burnouts3s32026-01-13 16:30

Yes.

DugACCat2026-01-13 18:09

Yeah was off for me a little bit ago. Guess I’ll just retry every so often. Though at least this is the first one this season for me, so could be worse. Last season I think there were five or six new shows that didn’t have English subs on release.

NekoCatSidhe2026-01-13 18:11

Yes, the English ones are. I had to switch to another language to watch it.

ClemFire2026-01-13 20:18

It’s hard not to be annoyed when you pay for CR, but still can’t watch the show

HuTaosTwinTails2026-01-13 20:42

Is it still not fixed?

ClemFire2026-01-13 20:48

I am not sure, I ended up watching it somewhere else

cppn022026-01-13 21:25

Not fixed as of 5 minutes ago. Luckily it's only an issue with the English subs.

Wyldbois2026-01-13 21:58

Nope

DuckyBean2026-01-13 23:58

I just was trying to watch it and its still messed up.

itsconsolefreaked2026-01-13 20:26

Yep

Background_Formal9402026-01-13 23:36

Me definitely i don't know how to watch if I can't understand what's happening

dementedbanana_222026-01-14 00:46

Yeah, for English none are showing up for me :(

todd-ashi2026-01-14 00:46

Still showing the episode 2 subs. I followed the directions here and reported it: [https://help.crunchyroll.com/hc/en-us/articles/19723786867732-There-is-an-error-in-the-subtitles#](https://help.crunchyroll.com/hc/en-us/articles/19723786867732-There-is-an-error-in-the-subtitles#)

I turned the subs off and watched it raw, probably missed a few details. I'll watch it again later.

todd-ashi2026-01-14 01:34

It's fixed!

HuTaosTwinTails2026-01-14 05:01

Thanks for the update

AnikRAGE2026-01-13 14:54

I feel I'm way too old for this but I can't just stop.

ClemFire2026-01-13 20:22

It has a lot of cute moments, but I feel like it’s not exactly a show for little kids with all the traumatic backstories

Skandrae2026-01-13 21:35

It's a seinen, so I doubt it.

Tar-eruntalion2026-01-13 21:43

maybe, but the world is so shitty it feels comforting to watch something so wholesome and cute

todd-ashi2026-01-14 00:49

I hear it's seinen, and I'm too old to worry about what I'm too old for.

melindypants2026-01-15 18:16

Seinen!? I would've never guessed but us adults need sweetness too

Skandrae2026-01-16 08:56

Almost all anime with super-cute little kids are made for adults...because little kids don't care about watching cute little kids.

themadweaz2026-01-16 04:13

I'm not even sure who this is for...

hasanman62026-01-13 15:00

I pay so i can have the wrong subtitles on my episodes.

tripleaamin2026-01-13 17:05

Also add how Crunchyroll is the only one that subs this show. Meaning until they fix it, we are fucked.

mekerpan2026-01-13 18:25

An "alternate source" had correct English subs. So, I'm not sure what is going on here.

ClemFire2026-01-13 20:19

I think whoever was in charge just submitted the wrong subs. You would think someone would notice

cppn022026-01-13 21:28

Could be that CR has the correct subs on their Amazon channel. Wouldn't be the first time.

Lodju2026-01-13 15:21

The CR executives and shareholders should lose 10% of their money everytime CR fucks up the subs.

hasanman62026-01-13 15:23

They would have been bankrupt ages ago

ObvsThrowaway51202026-01-13 16:16

It’s kind of hilarious those pishachas went from creepy slime demons to happy little balls of goo. They were even doing a little happy dance with her lol.

Who needs seduction when a good ol tickle attack works just as well? Doux’s an unstoppable force of nature! I like that they ended with another silly song. Those are always so cute.

Lulukassu2026-01-14 02:22

I am honestly shocked the torturers never bothered with tickling. It's supposed to be part of their playbook.

melindypants2026-01-15 18:18

I wonder if we will see that in the Part-time Torture anime lol

Cute ending for the salamander [mother and kid](https://imgur.com/a/YQnFdjn)

And here comes [Sadie](https://imgur.com/a/dLcl7oI) to add to [Jahy's](https://imgur.com/a/wLPTlL7) stress.

Time For Torture Princess may have a season 2 but let [Sadie-oneesan](https://imgur.com/a/gGLKl7M) show you how its done Dou. Let's go the [seductive](https://imgur.com/a/JtF5Gsx) route, nope he just see you as a [kid](https://imgur.com/a/eodUp1q). Time for [Jahy-oneesan](https://imgur.com/a/n7KIqoG) turn, nope she was close but reverted back to [physical torture](https://imgur.com/a/O9fkCTL). Cheer up Sadie and let Dou implement her [humor torture](https://imgur.com/a/0gnn9HA). All according to [Sadie's plan Dou](https://imgur.com/a/znVks3F). Now a cute song with Sadie and Dou wreaking havoc around the castle and [Jahy putting a stop to it](https://imgur.com/a/3hcBM1Q).

Lunchb0xx872026-01-13 16:45

another crunchyroll L

Rap2rerise2026-01-13 16:57

Had to watch it with Spanish subtitles (it is my main language, but I much prefer English)

Anyhow, really hilarious episode, that Doux and Thaiti song was a fricking banger

Also, the graffiti dude still chained to the wall in the ending killed me lol

Nice to see that the good deeds that Doux makes have payoff, like today with the salamander's son, wonder what else we'll have in the next episodes

LeonKevlar2026-01-13 17:13

Finally got to watch the episode thanks to Amazon. It baffles me how Amazon, which gets its subs from Crunchyroll, has the correct subs while the episode on Crunchyroll has subs from Episode 1. >_<

Anyway, [I knew the lizard Doux found wasn't just a normal lizard!](https://i.imgur.com/DSfLXMI.jpeg) I do think it's strange that dragons aren't considered magical beasts, but [at least Doux managed to find a wholesome way to make an informal pact with the dragon.](https://i.imgur.com/yjGctoj.jpeg) <3

[I already love Thaiti!](https://i.imgur.com/RbpQlXg.jpeg) She might not be the best [seductress out there](https://i.imgur.com/baAjP16.jpeg), but at least [she can teach Doux the best kid-friendly pranks!](https://i.imgur.com/yOpGU54.jpeg)

[Jahi using her assets to try to make that dude talk](https://i.imgur.com/ARqNVOF.jpeg) was actually a surprise! [She almost had him too](https://i.imgur.com/P7UapxT.jpeg) if she didn't [chicken out the last minute.](https://i.imgur.com/cUAPu4J.jpeg) xD

[I was so happy when the episode ended with another song!](https://i.imgur.com/qKQqthX.jpeg) I was a bit worried the entire episode, when it was almost over, and we still haven't gotten one. These little cute songs are definitely one of the highlights of this show.

Lunchb0xx872026-01-13 17:50

why does the Crunchyroll page through amazon never seem to have these issues when the main source does ?

cppn022026-01-13 21:32

Different pipeline? Plus CR possibly has better quality control for the stuff they send to Amazon. Or rather any quality control at all.

Planktonboy2026-01-13 22:12

I'd guess the quality control is on the Amazon side where they probably frequently receive the wrong file from CR. I would assume a company as big as Amazon would have a checklist for alignment, correctness etc. when assigning subs to a video.

Then again, CR is hardly tiny. The takeover has clearly had an impact on the operation.

ma190020012026-01-13 18:10

French subtitles saving the day.

NationalStrategy2026-01-13 18:25

**Demon Princess Dou**: Conqueror of Pishachas, Tamer of Salamandras, and the Serious Faced Torturer

TnAdct12026-01-14 02:20

However, is she a better torturer than Maomao?

NationalStrategy2026-01-14 02:48

Potentially

mekerpan2026-01-13 18:28

Interesting that dragons are NOT considered "magical beasts". Just what IS a magical beast in this realm? Still -- our sweet princess has formed a family tie with dragon mama and baby -- which I assume is at least as good as any run-of-the-mill magical pact.

ClemFire2026-01-13 20:21

Makes me wonder if true “magicial beasts” in this world have no real will of their own after forming a contract. I feel like Doux’s bond with the dragons will make them a lot stronger than traditional familiars.

Lulukassu2026-01-14 02:25

Better than the run of the mill pact.

At best, Run of the Mill Pact is for mutual benefit. The willing pactee is in it for themselves.

At worst, RotMPactee is a slave proactively trying to get out of it.

This is bond runs far deeper.

shatteredauthor2026-01-14 04:36

Taking a wild guess I'm assuming that a "magical beast" doesn't have intelligence of it's own, which is why Dragons are not treated as such. Really I'd say it's a better way of thinking than most shows where it's clear the titling starts as "humans are baseline" and you modify from there with everything being some form of "demihuman", and most "magical beasts" are basically just demi-humans who rejected being called human

FLorianGran2026-01-13 18:43

Succubi feel a little weird for a show like this

gsurfer042026-01-13 19:53

Well, it is about demons.

DoMoSSan2026-01-13 21:00

Well... so does slavery, torture, killing one's wife and daughter by burning their house down...

mgedmin2026-01-14 12:08

The very kid-friendly Sleeping Princess show also had a little succubus (named Succy, which was changed in the English translation to Cubey).

MordePobre2026-01-13 19:02

Holy flat 😭

ClemFire2026-01-13 20:25

Is anyone else curious on why Jahi only has the one horn? I wonder if she is actually a hybrid between a demon and human, so she finds the need to overcompensate in her hate for humans.

AggravatingCouple9872026-01-14 14:59

I mean the guy also has a horn so prob not

DoMoSSan2026-01-13 20:58

God damn, I should pay more attention to ONA/OVA section on AniChart... I had no idea this was running this season until I saw a random clip on youtube...

It's too damn cute! Though it being cute, by contrast makes the mini tragic stories of the humans Deux encounters that much more depressing... And there's Deux singing every episode so far?!

Gives a bit of sentimental whiplash.

PandaTheAB2026-01-13 21:25

English Subs from Episode 2 in Episode 3.

PandaTheAB2026-01-13 21:54

Amazon comes to rescue.

MayonakaMadaraka2026-01-13 21:45

This. Is. Heaven.

FG2052026-01-13 21:46

Check out the amazon version. Subtitles work fine on Amazon. Apparently Crunchyroll can't put up proper subs on it's own site but gave amazon the correct subs?

Dawn-Brook2026-01-13 23:11

This put my Japanese listening skills to the test. That first part was so adorable and wholesome!! It's so cute how the lizard she found turned out to be that dragon's kid.

The evil creatures just melted in the face of complete cuteness. I liked their part in the song at the end.

Tickle torture is actually pretty evil though, it seems duu is in fact getting eviler lol.

Background_Formal9402026-01-13 23:37

I am trying to watch it but it's messed up

DiaborMagics2026-01-13 23:39

I reported it hours ago to their dumb chatbot, but its still showing the wrong subs for me.

tripleaamin2026-01-13 23:51

Cute episode. The main theme is how, in the realm of cruel demons, we get to see how Doux saving the dragon's child helped her gain a new ally. Though it is quite funny how her healing ability turned into a weapon.

Doux ended up using pranks that Sadie was infamous for to provide the "torture".

CommanderZx22026-01-13 23:58

The subs are still broken, what a mess.

SYZekrom2026-01-14 00:00

I guess we're really getting a song every episode.

I thank the dude for having shit taste so that Jahi gave it a go too.

vinny7912026-01-14 00:12

Still not fixed

vinny7912026-01-14 01:21

Subs have been fixed

djthomp2026-01-14 02:05

I like the follow up with why the lizard was in the river. Blood pacts, magic pacts, friendship pacts are clearly superior.

This succubus is the worst succubus ever and that's great. Jahi on the other hand, at least before the beatings started.

Still getting a new song every episode, very nice.

melindypants2026-01-15 18:17

The songs are a great way to practice Hiragana and they are so cute

Fools_Requiem2026-01-14 03:23

They really tortured the dude because he painted graffiti?! So random.

I keep wondering if this show was intended to be a kids show but added more serious stuff like slavery, torture, and succubi to get the interest of an older crowd. The OP is a framed like a kiddie show theme with its cutesy sounding lyrics and song style as well as the random songs in the middle of episodes with the lyrics on the screen in sing-a-long style. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll has it listed as 14+ for "violence".

Also, I find it funny that they keep using the path that the King created at the beginning.

shatteredauthor2026-01-14 04:40

I'm more impressed that the dude withstood top line torturers just for the sake of not confessing that he did some graffiti! It wasn't even like mocking the demon king really lol. Though it did wonderfully remind me of Monty Python's "Life of Brian" with the ceturian grammar lessons. (If you've never seen it, I can't encourage enough that you stop whatever you are doing and go look it up. Life of Brian has some of the best Monty Python jokes that just come out of nowhere! Biggus Dickus is another fantastic one that was apparently all improved!)

raevnos2026-01-14 03:59

Jahi not being assigned to the succubus corp was such a waste of talent.

HugeRichard112026-01-14 04:34

The tonal shift from the evil dark slimes to cute blue refreshed slimes was pretty funny with just the contrast. They reminded me of Sui from the cooking isekai anime. It surprisingly work well as it feels they have the timing down where dark moments aren't stretched long, but long enough to leave an impact.

Graestra2026-01-14 04:59

Kuno Misaki’s ability to voice children and young characters is way too impressive. It’s kinda funny how much I like her now despite hating her voice a long time ago back around when she voiced Serara in Log Horizon.

Earlier-Today2026-01-14 08:33

Looks like the formula for each episode really is what I thought it was last episode:

1. Plan to help Doux become a "proper" demon, it fails because Doux's too kind.

2. A character in the episode has some kind of tragic backstory, Doux heals them of the pain of that backstory.

3. Doux sings a cute little song.

It's formulaic, but I am totally fine with it. This is a fun, lighthearted show.

MagDorito2026-01-14 18:31

It's anime Phineas & Ferb. It has a checklist & you know the checklist, but the formula works so it doesn't matter that it's formulaic

karer3is2026-01-14 22:51

I honestly hope they keep with the formula... it's very simple, but it works. A certain other "fluffy" show tried to diverge from its formula a few years ago and it was an absolute disaster when it did that.

JadedOni2026-01-15 17:33

Why did you have to remind me...

WorldArcher12452026-01-16 15:22

What was the show?

karer3is2026-01-17 20:49

\[Anime name\]>!Fluffy Paradise!<

Able-Ad35062026-01-14 09:16

Why demons get main roles and dragons get slain?!
Stop put demons above dragons! It should be vise versa instead!

Opening_Method64242026-01-14 16:58

Loved the episode, especially the song at the end. Im also glad it wasn't as emotionally heavy as the other two. I'm happy for the break.

Queue_Jumping_Quack2026-01-14 18:37

Another silly character joins the cast: a fail girl succubus (or pairaka which is I think maybe a ancient Persian demon of a similar type?) We also get another goofy and fun song. Pretty easy watching.

hbmonk2026-01-14 20:57

A seductress demon with a body like that just needs to find the right targets...

This show sits in a weird spot with all the cutesy stuff contrasting with tragic backstories, violence, and, with this episode, sexual things.

Garsnikk2026-01-15 18:59

I'm the right target, pick me, pick me.
Not falling for the wiles of the loli-succubus, what an uncultured swine.

Jahy would have succeeded, if she wasn't so pure XD

But ofc, Doux saves the day because her daughter-level is over 9000.

bbusiello2026-01-16 02:16

This show is fundamentally unhinged. I'm obsessed.
