I'd say skip it.

Mitsuyan_2026-01-13 18:17

Do you want to watch it? Instead of asking for validation from random strangers on the Internet ask yourself if you want to watch a filler arc. Seeing as you're clearly at least interested I'd say [watch the arc.](https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/i1vl8l/a_rant_watch_the_damn_anime/)

Really depends on how you feel about filler in general. Personally, if I'm enjoying the show and characters, I'll watch the filler.

Vorthod2026-01-13 18:18

It's filler. You're not missing anything by skipping it, but if you want to watch more of Bleach being Bleach, go for it. I didn't think it was a particularly good arc though.

DarthRinkus2026-01-13 18:20

100% skip it

It’s genuinely terrible and destroys the pacing of the show

I’d recommend skipping the other Bleach filler too and watching it after the canon content if you want more anime

Start watching it. You don’t need us to decide for you given you’ve prob already heard it’s not a great filler arc

DEATHP00L2026-01-13 18:21

My personal rule of thumb is watch filler on my 1st watch through and skip it on my 2nd but if it’s really boring then I fast forward through it or just watch a YouTube recap of it with Bleach a lot of filler episodes are connected to other filler episodes so it’s up to you if you want to watch filler

TokiVideogame2026-01-13 18:23

only fillers i would watch are vizards, they are awesome.

NGEFan2026-01-13 18:27

That’s not filler….

Vorthod2026-01-13 21:42

"Would watch," presumably meaning they would enjoy seeing more episodes featuring the Vizard crew even if those episodes didn't happen in the manga.

NGEFan2026-01-13 21:52

Oh interesting

That-Pear-13332026-01-13 18:24

Don't use other opinions to make a decision. I personally watch every filler arc because I gind all of them enjoyable in any anime. It just adds to the characters and stuff and the little side adventures are cool. It's ultimately your decision. Don't listen to people saying something is terrible because it'll only influence your decision.

ShadowRavencroft232026-01-13 18:27

Why would you watch a show and skip episodes?

Cl4pl3k2026-01-13 18:35

With how many filler episodes Naruto had, I can completely understand it.

Vorthod2026-01-13 21:41

Because those episodes are someone coming in after the fact and saying, "We need to waste time before getting back to the real plot." Not something someone added because they thought it would improve the story.

challagundu_bro2026-01-13 18:28

Don't

Fly0strich2026-01-13 18:29

The only time I ever tried to watch Bleach, I was petty new to anime, and didn’t really know about filler arcs yet. But I watched every episode until the Bounts arc. Got partway through that arc, and basically I just thought that the whole show had turned stupid and wasn’t worth watching anymore. It had lost everything that was cool and interesting about it, and I stopped watching completely. Years later, I learned that was just filler that I should have skipped anyway. But by then, I couldn’t remember anything about the storyline, so I felt like I would have had to watch from the beginning again, and I’ve never been able to bring myself to do that.

KMAVegas2026-01-13 18:31

It turned me off Bleach, personally. I wish I’d known to skip it at the time.

Cl4pl3k2026-01-13 18:34

Wait isn't that arc the one that was referenced in a court case for some inexplicable reason?

Android19samus2026-01-13 18:36

if you're interested in watching good television, then no. If you want to truly understand the meaning of "filler," however, it is very educational.

Sleeping-warrior2026-01-13 18:39

Watch it on 1.5x or 1.75x speed. The arc's starting is so boring that I think it's a different show.

FYI, all filler arc in bleach is not canon. So, even if you completely skip it, it would not become a problem. The filler serves to lengthen the gap between anime and manga at the time of airing. Now, the filler is completely useless. So, do what you want.

EmprahCalgar2026-01-13 18:51

I watched all the bleach filler and even liled the bount arc, skip it. The pacing is terrible, the characters are nonsense, and it makes later content make less sense. It's just not worth watching when the rest of the show is flat better.
