Hi alesss666, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!
The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

newer one that was good was vivy fluorite eyes, you've said you've been watching from a while back so maybe you missed a newer one? Gosick is an older one but it's good if you haven't watched.
Uma-apreciator2026-01-13 20:09
Watch Uma Musume Cinderella Gray
alesss6662026-01-13 20:32
the spin off one?
Uma-apreciator2026-01-13 21:23
Yes, It is a isolated story
alesss6662026-01-13 21:52
okok i’ll give a look
Tricky_Scallion27142026-01-13 20:11
Just started watching Planetes - I recommend!
Tricky_Scallion27142026-01-13 20:11
May be well-known but I just heard about it
ThirdRateRat2026-01-13 20:13
Honestly, a lot of the new-ish shows are just pretty lame.
There's, like, 2 animes in recent years that I'd actually personally recommend. But you likely watched those already because they were pretty hyped up.
It would help if you told us what kind of anime you prefer, as it wouldn't really be of any help if I just list shows I like but you wouldn't care for.
alesss6662026-01-13 20:26
i don’t like romance or sad shi, i love psychological, splatter, horror and slice of life
ThirdRateRat2026-01-14 07:42
Ah, well... those aren't exactly my forte. In fact the only one I can think of is Corpse Party, but I'm guessing you know that one already.
As for slice of life, lot's of choices out there, but I don't really watch that genre.
I guess... go to your preferred watch site and filter by genre? Probably gonna get better results than what I can give you lol
alesss6662026-01-14 10:01
i mean yeah this are my favourite genre but i’m open minded, maybe if it’s somethings unique
SpeakerOfDeath2026-01-13 20:16
Well imagine the pain that is searching for hidden gems when you've got another 10 years on top of your current 10 years...the search for what to watch is neverending and exhausting.
As for my recommendation: Uchuu kyoudai. 99 episodes so you won't have to search for a while. Overlord also has many seasons and is a nice watch with high rewatch value.
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:21
No it’s not. I’ve been watching anime since the 80s and there is always 20 more things I could be watching
SpeakerOfDeath2026-01-13 20:23
So you've never spent at least 1 hour searching for what to watch? Not even after ending a long series and are left longing for more of the same? Lucky you are! Wish it was me.
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:31
An hour? That ridiculous, literally never longer than a minute. The only thing that takes any time at all is checking to see what shows come out on what days.
SpeakerOfDeath2026-01-13 20:40
I wonder how many low tier animes you've watched to completion at this point. If I'm gonna invest hours watching something I gotta know if at least aligns a tad with what I like.
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:45
No shit bro. You try things and you continue with things you like and don’t continue with things you don’t like…..you know like a human.
SpeakerOfDeath2026-01-13 20:48
And out of all anime out there, you like it so much in general all genres that you've never had to sift through the bad ones? Because that will take time. Otherwise I can also just click a random anime and start watching within a minute, but how many dropped shows will you get that way?
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:58
The current season for me stands at 15 drops and 23 keepers. Being a one genre person in any medium is a recipe for being miserable. Like if you wanna be the mecha only guy, all the power to you but you’re going to have a bad time. Be so terrified of trying new things is no way to live.
SpeakerOfDeath2026-01-13 21:06
Never said I was a 1 genre guy. In fact I watch from romance to horror and all in between. This season for me stands at 8 keepers and none dropped.
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 21:09
Ok then I hope you have fun
alesss6662026-01-13 20:28
yeah and dropping after 2 episodes
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:35
The current season for me stands at 15 drops and 23 keepers.
alesss6662026-01-13 20:27
totally agree
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:19
Well just click on something you’ve never seen then
alesss6662026-01-13 20:34
so explain me how do i find the existence of something?
Muffin-zetta2026-01-13 20:36
With your eyes
Durinthal2026-01-13 20:43

alesss6662026-01-13 21:52
yes
Durinthal2026-01-13 21:53
And that's how I find anime I haven't seen. Don't even need to ask other people these days.
alesss6662026-01-13 21:54
i prefer humans
SaintNutella2026-01-13 20:24
I'm not sure if these are considered obscure/popular but most of my friends *haven't* seen them:
- Pluto
- The Fate Heaven's Feel movies (though watching UBW, a fairly popular anime, before these movies is probably the right move but I think you can watch them alone)
- Scavenger's Reign (not really anime but hella underrated animation)
- Monster
- Dororo
- D Gray Man
- Claymore
- Ergo Proxy
- Darker Than Black
- Lazarus
alesss6662026-01-13 20:30
did you watch claymore? i planned long time ago to watch
SaintNutella2026-01-13 20:37
Yes. I've watched and completed everything I recommend except for Ergo Proxy which I watched most of but never finished.
Claymore is pretty cool. Doesn't have the best animation but I think the story is interesting and the lore is cool. Some good characters, too.
