Old anime head, looking for new series to check out after a long pause!
I was a big fan of anime back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Bebop, Champloo, Outlaw Star, Escaflowne, Eva, a huge fan of all the Ghost in the Shells. But I stopped watching anything really new.
Now it's years (decades...ugh) later, and I'm on a kick to watching things I missed or should check out now!
So far I've checked out Ergo Proxy, From Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman, Attack on Titan (have to get the last season still), Delicious in Dungeon, Iron Fortress, and Space Dandy. These are been great, some of them stellar to see!
But I ask you r/anime.... What am I missing to check out? What do ya'll recommend?

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Also its funny you didn't mention Trigun when there's a new Trigun airing this season. I dunno if you never got around to the original(I just watched it last year) or if that's just a funny coincidence.

I'm curious on FLAG as well. Might check out that watch through.
