Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 premiere scored 3.1 million views on Netflix (number 2 worldwide for foreign language tv shows)

The premiere episodes for Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 got 3.1 million views on Netflix and made number 2 for this week in foreign language tv shows. The most impressive thing about this is the fact the show is only available in east and south Asia. If this was available worldwide the number would have been massive.

In my area, it's Jujutsu Kaisen and Dan Da Dan that are the top two anime. The reasons are that girls like to glaze Gojo and everybody love gyarus.

Cipher-IX2026-01-14 00:03

It aint just the girls.

Jalase2026-01-14 04:16

What’s the quote? “Deep down every straight man wants to fuck Goku”, but you could apply this to Gojo.

Wide_Open_Buttcheeks2026-01-14 04:39

I want him to activate his domain expansion and absolutely RAVAGE me

Jalase2026-01-14 05:24

You will never mentally recover from this.

_Pyxyty2026-01-14 09:40

I don't wanna fuck him but anyone who denies he's got a pretty face is just lying man. Them eyes is glorious too

Man I hate licensing, netflix has so many shows where they've only licensed one or two seasons when theres more, the fact you have to pay for multiple subscription services to watch one show is insane

kaori_cicak9902026-01-14 02:06

Yeah agree but nowadays i just subs to netflix to see one piece LA only later and bstation because its having so many anime library and way more cheaper than Crunchyroll

Droppedudown2026-01-14 02:26

Most people I know own a Netflix subscription so seems like a non issue to me

Merkyorz2026-01-14 05:13

Most people I don't know don't have Netflix, so my anecdote cancels out your anecdote.

Are the eng subs different between CR and NF? I’ve been watching on CR and just curious

Infodump_Ibis2026-01-14 15:26

Yes, they are different (e.g. early ep2 NF writes "Such speed" while CR have "He's fast!"). Neither translator is credited in the subs (Netflix normally are, CR have started doing that on occasion).

Zonca2026-01-14 16:53

I've seen different subs around, other than CR so probably NF, and they were pretty bad imo

Here in my region, JJK is also on 2nd. But what's surprising is **Sentenced To Be A Hero** is also on the 5th as well. (Top 10 in Hong Kong, Japan, Maldives, Taiwan, and most of Southeast Asia)

MetroidIsNotHerName2026-01-14 04:26

Sentenced to be a hero had a really strong extra-length episode 1, so that helps

darkmacgf2026-01-14 19:59

JJK had a two episode premiere too

Bakedcity12026-01-14 03:01

yawn

icchann2026-01-14 04:19

Who was #1?

TinyResponsibility112026-01-14 05:12

Swedish crime drama Land of Sin, had 3.2 million views.

96-throwaway2026-01-14 04:44

Who was #1 of that's #2? Geez.

darkmacgf2026-01-14 20:00

Something available worldwide rather than just in certain regions.
