I can’t remember much but chat gpt ain’t helpin. I can’t remember the whole anime but there’s a fight scene involving a holy priest versus the main characters and the holy priest is bulky and big and he keeps his eyes closed the entire fight if that helps identifying him. but he wields a book and a whip if I remember talking about a holy mission and uses demons or the 7 sins to fight along side him. after the fight leaves a giant tower. the main character and the team not including one girl who is hiding in a barrel. they fight the priest guy with angel wings now as a crowd of possessed or controlled people or monsters flood the castle and the group is huddled with fire to keep enemies away as a giant red grotesque monster swallows the entire area. and I can’t remember what happens but eventually the heroes win and are left traumatized and the grotesque monster is destroyed. does this ring a bell? I really hope it does, and I promise it exists.
