OP/Strong mc anime recommendations

Okay so, I’m addicted to horrible op mc anime, especially isekais, but I feel like I watched everything that’s somewhat decent, so I’ll be grateful if someone recommended me any shows to watch, but most of the time, I either dropped it or already watched it😭😭

I definitely prefer NO harem or romance, but if the show is worth it, I’ll survive.
I like any type,
Weak-> Strong, Op from the beginning, Reincarnation, transfer student, etc.

I also will appreciate any donghuas (but only 2D, I don’t like the 3D ones)

You can also count in anime with characters that are op because they are smart like Dr. stone!

Here’s a list of everything(hopefully) I enjoyed so you can have a reference or just use my list as a to-watch list :D

- The time I got reincarnated as a slime (PEAK.)
- My isekai life (kinda hated the mc, the story is kinda like unseasoned chicken, but it was fun)
- Solo Levelling
- Lord of Mysteries (PEAK.)
- The eminence in shadow
- Knights and Magic
- Ubel Blatt (Watched it in one sitting, I loved it)
- Parallel World Pharmacy
- Saihate no Paladin
- Towa no Quon (watched some of the movies, gotta finish it, but its okay)
- As A Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill To Rise In The World
- I’M The Evil Lord Of An Intergalactic Empire!
- Demon Lord 2099
- The Legend Of The Legendary Heroes
- Wistoria: Wand And Sword
- Berserk of Gluttony
- Long Zu s1 and 2
- Kami no Tou (especially the second season)
- I'm A Noble On The Brink Of Ruin, So I Might As Well Try Mastering Magic
- The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows
- The wrong way to use Healing magic
- Mashle
- Water Magician
- The rising of the shield hero
- Vinland Saga (s2 was boring but enjoyed it)
- A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring
- Wise man’s Grandchild
- Mushoku Tensei (controversial, but I liked the world building, not the perv mc)
- Tsukimichi
- The beginning after the end (the animation was horrible, but I enjoyed the story, I’ll definitely will read the manhwa before any more of the anime comes out :P)

From what is coming out right now:
- Noble Reincarnation
- a gentle noble’s Vacation recommendation (not really op mc but he seems smart af and his bodyguard is strong)
- Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City

Probably skipped some, I watched a lot, and I am VERY picky, I like newer anime, and I enjoy a show more if the animation is good. Preferably 2015-now, but don’t mind older series.
Thank you in advance!

Have you watched Frieren? You really only need the first 10 episodes

VentisDickHolder2026-01-14 04:28

Yes! I loved it :D

I don't think I see "the hero is overpowered but overly cautious". There is vaguely romance but it's played more for comedy. Sounds right up your alley.

Not an isekai but "Mob psycho" is about being overpowered but there being things more important than strength. More of a subversion of the trope but plays well into it. Considerably more peak than trashy.

VentisDickHolder2026-01-14 04:44

Watched both, mob psycho was just too long and got boring mid way, the cautious hero was ehh.. alright. As I said, I watched a lot, and I am VERY picky😭

takoyakuza2026-01-14 04:52

Sounds like a "redo of a healer" angle.

What about "irregular at magic high school" or its cousin "the misfit at demon academy"

VentisDickHolder2026-01-14 04:55

Watched both, they were okay and I enjoyed them, but not good enough to be on the list.

Black Summoner would probably be up your alley

VentisDickHolder2026-01-14 04:45

I’m somewhere midway into the show, lost interest honestly so dropped it, might pick it up again.

Ok_Pear_24342026-01-14 04:48

Solo Leveling. Akashic is a quick and funny one.

VentisDickHolder2026-01-14 04:54

Heard it’s funny, but unfortunately the overwhelming ecchi and harem is what’s stopping me because I don’t know if it’s worth suffering through the half naked girls😭😭

Ok_Pear_24342026-01-14 04:58

It’s a bit odd but it’s not too bad. It’s not food wars or dxd. Not close. It’s reasonable

VentisDickHolder2026-01-14 04:59

Oh! I’ll pick it up then! Thank you!

Bofuri

VR video game. I guess she starts weak, but that doesn't last long at all.
