HiDive isn't that great either, and has a different selection of anime.
For the majority of shows, your options are to tolerate Crunchyroll's UI or make like Luffy and become a Pirate King. Due to the subreddit rules we aren't allowed to suggest those other sites though.

no entanto? tens como fornecer este seu precioso conhecimento para vós pff? kkk

É contra as regras do site, basta pesquisar no Google.
Os sites que eu conheço só têm legendas em inglês, o que não é útil para você.

If you live in japan then netflix japan has pretty much everything.
notanfan2026-01-14 17:15
or just use a vpn
Rielhawk2026-01-14 17:19
I only have prime and netflix.
I used to be on free streaming sites (not very legal), but the quality there has dropped enormously, so I'm only using the mentioned two paid services.
Subtitle quality has definitely dropped. I think they're using ai generated subs nowadays.

CR is still by far the best site to watch anime and no one else is anywhere close.
ElectronicDelay24892026-01-14 17:26
i have never paid to watch anime i just search in google "watch anime online", and that's it.
Muffin-zetta2026-01-14 17:29
Well frankly too bad. Even if you pirate stuff, the pirates just steal the videos from crunchyroll anyways so you’ll be stuck with those sub either way.
Klinicalyill2026-01-14 17:29
I don’t understand people’s issue with Crunchyroll.
$9 for ad-less streaming is by far the cheapest subscription I have of any streaming service which are double that and sometimes also have ads.
They have most of the shows I want to see and the newest ones airing for the current season. As long as you put things on your watch list it will update your “continue watching” section with new episodes/seasons of shows you’re following as they release so the UI isn’t even really a problem. They also have a “currently airing” section where you can add those shows to your watch list or else a search bar to look for a specific show.
So, what’s the issue?
N7CombatWombat2026-01-14 17:32
The main issue is around their subtitles and them engaging with an AI company to produce them recently.
There's also been a bunch of little issues that have been piling up since Sony bought CR and shut down Funimation. Not bringing over all of Funi's library, CR removing it's comment section, type setting changing to be harder to see on subtitles. Things like that.
Muffin-zetta2026-01-14 17:39
I don’t see the problem either, they got the shows, you click on the show and the shows plays. That’s all I care about.
Quiddity1312026-01-14 18:19
By all means people can complain about service-related issues with Crunchyroll like the way the subs look, but as one who has been an anime fan for 25 years I can say there is no better or cheaper platform for consuming anime. $9 a month for thousands, probably tens of thousands of anime episodes. You can't get a better deal than that. When I first got into anime it was $30 for a single VHS tape with two episodes of one anime.

> When I first got into anime it was $30 for a single VHS tape with two episodes of one anime.
I remember the bootleg days. Was always a kind of sketchy looking guy with a booth selling anime tapes at every fandom convention.
Quiddity1312026-01-14 18:16
Crunchyroll sold itself to Sony years ago. This isn't new.
Anyway, Hidive is a far worse platform then Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll has its flaws for sure, but for an anime specific platform, it is the best one out there. When I was subscribed to Hidive it couldn't even get simple stuff right, like saving the episode I was at so the next time I didn't have to look up the next episode. Hidive wouldn't let me switch from dub to sub on my Roku. etc... Never had those issues with Crunchyroll.

Yuji yells, "Choso!"
Netflix subs: Mother!

While paid legal services tend to be of good quality in general.
**Anime is the exception**, where all the legal paid services are grossly behind the alternatives in terms of experience/quality.
But I understand the frustration of your income not helping you out in this one circumstance.
Mean-Fig-82192026-01-19 13:41
Estou em busca também em um site que eu possa assistir anime japonese, coreanos e chineses sem que eu tenha que buscar na net toda vez que lança um novo e não está no site que estou utilizando. Alguem tem algum nome pff?
