New to anime need suggestions🙏

I’ve just recently watched kaiju no.8, loved it.

Been watching one punch man since it started and it’s the comedy/sci fi I love from both of these shows I’ve tried to look through suggestions but nothing I’m seeing feels/looks the same as either of those, I liked them because they kinda looked the same (I rather to watch dub tbh my brain can’t handle subtitles sometimes as sometimes I’m doing things while watching) but i can’t for the life of me find a good host of substitutes that are on the same level of sci-fi kaiju/monster fights with hilarious comedy please someone save me with suggestions🙏

Go directly on Attack on titans.

Pitiful-Attention9162026-01-14 20:40

I’ve seen so many people say this but does it have comedic moments like kaiju no.8 and one punch man it looks a lot more drama orientated 😭

Pitiful-Attention9162026-01-19 14:18

Just finished attack on titan in the entirety wasn’t as funny as the other two but amazing fights and a great story thank you for you recommendation 🙏

Pitiful-Attention9162026-01-19 14:18

Mob Psycho 100 (Dub)
Comedy + insane psychic battles + weird monsters + heart. VERY similar in tone to One Punch Man but with its own soul.

Pitiful-Attention9162026-01-14 20:45

If you’re looking for action sci-fi comedy maybe flcl? I thought it was pretty funny

Jolly-Ad-30932026-01-14 21:04

I recommend watching older anime then working up to modern anime. With that out of the way, try watching Hajime No Ippo.

Some that I think have similar vibes:

* Blood Blockade Battlefront
* Dandadan
* Fire Force
* My Hero Academia
* Brave Bang Bravern
* Mashle: Magic and Muscles
* Sakamoto Days
* Undead Unluck

Hope there's something of interest!
