I went into this short anime with zero expectations, mainly because its low rating on MyAnimeList and how low it was listed on the Fall 2025 seasonal chart, and I was somehow still disappointed. That's impressive. The worst part is the animation and art style. I hate it, to say the least. I'm sure it is just a style, but I can't stand it, I think it's ugly, and it uses extremely limited animation, probably intentionally, but very poorly. It's definitely no Yami Shibai in that regard, that's for sure. As for the story and characters, there barely is any. It's just riddled with uninteresting cliches and is very boring. Each episode is only five minutes long so it's not that much of a waste of time, but that could also maybe be considered a flaw because there's not nearly enough time to flesh out the characters and stories. This format works best with something that's mainly comedy, perhaps with just a little bit of deep plot and character. My favorite short form anime is I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, that's a great example of how it can work.
