Trying to find an animated show
I cant say 100% its an "anime", I watch all kinds of animated shows (from different regions) and read all kinds of comics.
That being said, theres one that has been plaguing my mind for a few weeks now, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what it was. The ONLY details and scene/chapter i can remember are that the world setting is the gates to another world trope with magic and I believe leveling. There's monster breakouts that can happen if these "gates" arent farmed. While walking through the city the main character comes across a creature that is in a trap (maybe hurt badly?) If my impression is accurate it looks similar to a goblin type with red/orange/brown skin and I believe it had white hair??? Anyway instead of calling for help and letting authorities or killing it himself, the MC helps the creature, which in turn rewards him with something (i cant remember the reward but it was either an ability so they could adventure and they were powerless before, or it was access to a secret gate that they gained special powers in when conquering the gate)
If anyone finds this remotely familiar or has an answer as to what this could be from, i would greatly appreciate the education on this so I can finally resolve this insanity.
