Looking for Pure-Comedy Anime Recommendations
Looking for some pure comedy animes, like little to none action. One I’ve watched is Horimiya, I guess, and romance-comedy is fine, but not too many please. Just anime that you laughed a lot while watching, but with barely any combat. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is tons more, but this are some of my favourite comedies.
I can send you another list with just harem comedies, but those are acquired taste.
**Gamers** - hectic school club like show with romance tropes as the basis of the jokes
**Hayate the Combat Butler** - character comedy that gets funnier the more anime you know. Opens with Santa calling the main character poor and gets weirder from there. Warning that there's regular fan service, and half the main characters are 13-14, so might be a hard no (I still find it hilarious but that gets weirder as I age for sure. It's mostly self aware, except when it isn't. Also semi regular bit using cross dressing for comedy).
**Yuru Yuri** (season 1 and 2, season 3 reverses the romcom ratio) - After school comedy I would describe as a "Lucky Star" alike, but a bit more approachable. Maybe more queer bait than romance, but leaned into hard enough it feels more appropriate here
Just Com:
**Bocchi the Rock** - Awkward girl learns guitar to make friends. It doesn't work, until one day it does. Infinitely memeable.
**Hinamatsuri** - saw this one in another comment and second it. Psychic girl tied to the mob is adopted by a dude. It's super not an action show, but it will try to convince you it is. Slice of life with ridiculous faces and surprisingly long arc humanizing the homeless.
**Non non Biyori** - Children who live in the sticks and have to amuse themselves. Lots of countryside landscapes, a couple of rowdy troublemakers. Firmly in the 'cute girls doing cute things' space
More like Dramas with humor
**March Comes in like a Lion** - high school aged professional shogi player who is very justifiably very depressed and the over the top people in his life who are helping him with that directly and indirectly.
**A Place Further than the Universe** - high school girls decide they're going to go to Antarctica for various personal reasons. Very serious but full of joy caused by the main cast's chemistry. Not sure this fully fits your ask, but not dramatically different in tone from Horimiya.
The weird ones:
**Lucky Star** - commits to its style in 1 episode, don't be afraid to drop if it's not for you. Basically just teen girls talking about random stuff.
**Kobayashi's Dragon Maid** - Dragons trying to act like humans for the humans they love and or love them. If nothing else, look up their version of The Little Match Girl. Bounces between the mundane silliness and short bursts of Dragon sakuga. Unfortunately earns its reputation for being a little creepy with age differences, but the first season is *mostly* fine
