animes with less sexualized fan servicey nudity?

code geass was really good with it as none of it felt unnecessary or like they were just itching to show nudity? i’m looking for anime where they show these things but not in a over the top fan service way basically natural and with good serious story.

bro is actually using code geass as an example of a less fanservicey anime lmao are you on drugs

ThesePower38602026-01-15 04:29

obviously there was fan service but to me the actually nudity scenes seemed more natural and not just an excuse to put titties in the frame. why does me saying that get you upset? 😭

No-Exit-40222026-01-15 04:34

Because there are so, so many anime with much less fanservice. It’s like asking for a movie without superheroes while mentioning Avengers

Eywaxx2026-01-15 04:29

Cyberpunk edgerunners is the best recommendation you can get for that

Future diary, imo the nudity on it doesn’t interrupt the story. And there’s not much either

Fit_Introduction62942026-01-15 04:49

How are you gonna suggest one of the tiny percent of anime’s that show full nudity lol. Great anime but I don’t feel like it’s a good suggestion for them

_Loading-Thoughts_2026-01-15 14:43

I thought it was a good fit for the question. It doesn’t show much, and what it does show isn’t over the top in your face

I would consider code Geass fairly heavy, but it doesn't detract from the story since they space it out vs shows like fire force/ seven deadly sins.

Attack on titan, frieren and full metal alchemist brotherhood basically have no fan service.

Hunter X hunter, you yuu hakusho have minor fan service but usually in service to a character or plot reason.

In terms of anime with more mature themes and some realistic/justified nudity and sex.

Outlaw star, ghost in the shell and neon genesis evangelion, black lagoon

Berserk, perfect blue and devilman crybaby for serious themes involving sex.

Edit: and any trigger show(kill la kill, gurren laggan etc) if U just want fun horny

ThesePower38602026-01-15 04:48

preciate it, i know it’s heavy with fan service i was using code geass to specifically mention the nudity scenes because to me compared to other ones i watched it didn’t seem as heavy and it felt more natural than most

I can't recall any unnecessary nudity in Code Geass, but I do recall some cockpit angles of Kallen in particular that were very obviously done with fan service in mind...

Anyway, if you want a really old example, Ideon, although you'll have to wait for the movies for it.

>code geass was really good with it as none of it felt unnecessary or like they were just itching to show nudity?

?? CG is very much classic fanservice? Like there are works like the original Ghost in the Shell 95 film, where I would argue it's nudity isn't typical anime fanservice however, your example is straight up confusing lol.

I think Symphogear handled it pretty well, although it's been awhile since I've seen it. It's pretty much just locker room stuff as far as I remember.
