Which anime is better to introduce someone to anime tropes? Ouran high school host club or saiki k?
My friend has watched a few animes now but she doesn’t understand tropes yet (because shes never seen them before). An example is, a character had pervy thoughts and got a nosebleed, she didn’t understand that.
The two tropiest anime i could think of with minimal fanservive were ouran high school host club and saiki k. I’m wondering which of the two we should watch first.

Never watched Ouran High School Host Club, but a lot of people watched it early on so I'm guessing it's a better fit for now.
I think with Saiki K, while very funny, you need to know the tropes beforehand to get the jokes.
The "getting a nosebleed" trope, tho? ... Was never funny. Even as a kid I never understood why getting horny would made you bleed from the nose even when I finally understood what it represented.
Basically its a visual way to show their heart racing without doing the cartoon heart eyes or their heart beating out of their chest
The only time I found it funny was One Piece where a character loses so much blood due to his nose bleed and needs medical attention.
