The hypnosis worked too well. It felt odd seeing Renako being so vain.

LIES. I listened to the Kaho ASMR loop for hours, and I didn't get any more confident.

I don't remember this scene from season 1. Did a new season or an ova drop??
tealjaker942026-01-15 14:48
Next Shine covers the next arc after season 1. It was a limited release movie and then dropped as 5 episodes at the start of the year.

Mindbroken into making an objectively correct self-assessment.

Mindbreak but wholesome

Why the nsfw tag? It's a cute clip

Uncensored handholding at 1:22

My bad. I didnt see it
ilovecostcopizza2026-01-15 16:59
Well, nsfw for the sound if your not using headphones. It would be awkward hearing high pitched voices coming from your desk/cubicle.
Shaoran102026-01-15 15:41
Interesting

Any news about if/when this will continue after the recent 5 episode release?
crixx932026-01-15 16:59
I'd be surprised if they never make a sequel. The theatrical release did well, the Blue Ray sales did well, so did the manga and novels; even the average, casual anime viewer liked it.
Hitman71282026-01-15 19:21
Fingers crossed
Would be so happy for the yuri curse to have a dump taken on it
manquistador2026-01-15 20:36
Do they have any material? I thought the most recent episodes passed the manga.
effseedee2026-01-15 23:08
The source of the manga and anime both is LNs, and they only covered four of eight of those.
Original-Pea-88642026-01-15 17:51
I know that I watched next shine but I donβt remember this scene. What episode was it?

I'm so glad the Second Shine was as good as it ended up being. And now I know why the LN readers were hyping up Kaho so much, girl is madness in a fun way. I expect the Rock speech will end up getting posted here at some point as well.

> ~Next Shine~
This one tickles my language funny bone, as it's just the Japanese title ( γγγγζδΊΊγ«γͺγγγγγͺγγγγγγ γͺγ γͺ! (β»γ γͺγγγͺγγ£γ!?) ο½γγ―γΉγγ·γ£γ€γ³οΌο½ ) but the Japanese title is actually just English in Japanese, and it doesn't really make any strict sense in either language, but has the same sort of broad feel and works well in both lol
Also, I love confident!Renako, really does reveal the monster lurking beneath the surface lol Not that this is what she thinks inside, but she really has so much power-of-personality and we see just how potent and assertive her actions can be at times even when she's stuttering to get them started.
