What's that?

I thought she would try to do it quick (so no time to think about it), but no, slowly cutting it...

\*pretends to be shocked\*
But yerah, as a few other series showed us already, it is a dumb idea to kick someone handling the mundane parts of the party life like cooking or logistics.
But seeing how many modern companies kick key employees in hope to replace them with AI or someone with minimal training, it is not just fantasy villains being dumb.
Jean is basically just a fantasy techbro.
With crunchyroll being a prime example, just how many subs have they screwed up this week?
And it's not like the Sage even has a logical reason...he just thinks he will have a better chance to get into the pants of the party member he has the hots for.
The surpuss Jean on the other hand? Yeah he is a negative alright.
Issue is Jean being a whiny bastard, they probably didn't even realize just how whiny he is when flum was there to absorb 99% of his prissiness. Flum took all his whining and kept his morale up so it didn't affect anyone else, but now his whole unfiltered spoiled child personality is effecting everyone else at full power. They lost an escort quest but in exchange gained a party member being the pissiest, whiniest bastard 24/7 AND having to do all the housekeeping for themselves + his brat ass who definitely doesn't do shit.
I wouldn't be surprised if her power is the only thing to defeat any curse the Demon Lord can dish out.
If Flum is the real hero of the group, then they are going to town on Jean for fucking up so badly.
Why doesn't he do the cooking himself then?
- "Ok, but what if they can't fight, cooking's all they do?"
- "That's fine!"
- "..."

I actually DO want to see her make nice with the party. Unlike a lot of these anime they mostly seem like good people, other than the Sage who can indeed roll over and die
I am eventually expecting the reversal of Flum telling that to the Sage.
Flum doesn't seem the type of person that would spare him after what he did.
I’m really rooting for Flum and Milkit. That shit Dein didn’t seem too pleased to see they completed the quest and her old party seems to be crumbling without her. Things are looking up. I’m just worried about that dead werewolf cursing her…
That hug between Flum and Milkit. Yuri meter increases!
Also, whenever Gadhio talks, I can't get Kiryu Kazuma out of my head (yeah, they have the same VA and the same applies to pretty much all his roles)
Flum is metal. "This thing has way better stats but I can regenerate to fuck it let's go."
Proceeds so slice off her arm with only a second or two of hesitation.
That cursed sword only made her survive mortal blow but have awful stats so she has to do something that normal people definitely don't want to do and win (like even if you can't die, it is still hurt).
Spicy
she is not stupid, but that doesn't mean she is a skilled fighter. She just showed good survival instincts.
she has enhanced strength, dexterity/agility, etc. What you see as acrobatics are just normal for her because of those stats you so easily dismissed it.
she was not fighting someone that had skill with a weapon, or as fast/faster than she was, etc. The monster was doing basic movements and just had higher strength. She was simple faster.
If you want an example of pure stats, no skill, there's Saitama. Notice that we've never seen him perform acrobatics, but we *have* seen him fail to swat a regular mosquito-sized mosquito.
Flum didn't have to chop off her arm when she should have just chugged down 100 Staminans in a nanosecond.
If Dein and his crew die, I wouldn’t be sad.
My paranormal/supernatural romances told me werewolves make for nice partners, but I don’t think these are the werewolves they meant.
*Holy shit* that slice was so vivid.
This is giving Princess Mononoke with the mama wolf god’s head. “Cut off a wolf's head and it still has the power to bite”.
Yuri casts ✨Inspiration.✨
It was *super* effective! 💃🏾🏳️🌈
Milkit deserves the world.
**These girls deserves the world.**

I am belatedly realizing the titles are also from The Tao ☯️.
Hero’s party unraveling when a member is banished will never not be both sad and funny. Sad because of how it affects everyone outside of the fuckass and the banished member was mainly nonmaliciously taken for granted. Funny because the fuckass still won’t get their way after all their little insidious scheming.
I hope the receptionist at the guild eventually becomes somewhat of an ally.
Becoming Taopilled after the _Jigokuraku_ Rewatch gang 💪
But screw everyone, I'll take every yuri anime possible, and gore action fantasy yuri is damn rare, I wonder if it's the first such anime.
Also the death game is a really underated gem, can't wait for the next episode
In summary, tough crowd
I know it will never get a S2 but it deserves it.
I also hope they will quit with the slave thing, since I am liking Flum and Milkit's interactions otherwise.
"Yes, here's five dollars and a McDonald's coupon. It's due in a week."
This studio is doing seriously good work for the level of resources they've been assigned. I'd love for this story to get a bunch of money, but seeing a group of people working on it do their best still feels great.
It has potential.
And if there was magic ink in that world no one else can regenerate like Flum can so it makes no sense for this random idiot slave trader to use ink with counter measures to regeneration.
I think that whoever is in charge of this anime does not know how to properly direct fight scenes. There's a lot of movement so I don't think it's a budget thing, but rather just inexperience on how to actually show people fighting.
No wait, that last one is wholesome too.
I cringed when Flum cut her arm like fuck, if you gotta so it and it's gonna regenerate perfectly at least slam that fucker down why do it that slowly 😭
"Mustardo toxin" I wonder if she is referring to sulfur mustard, the colloquially named mustard gas. That's fucked up if so because not only can it cause severe chemical burns, but it is also a carcinogen and mutagen so even after surviving the initial attack you can still get fucked over for life.
Yeah sulfur mustard is a WW1 chemical weapon but that's in our world. Though this is a fantasy setting sometimes they incorporate more advanced technology or it could simply be produced as an effect of magic.
Well, now we know that 995 total stats is about twice that of a regular adult werewolf, and just under the requirements for a C-Rank adventurer, so that's pretty good.
So she'd actually learned to fight quite well, and only her lack of stats was keeping her down? Or did the stats increase magically teach her how to fight well?
Splitting it in half the first time only made it stronger, why was the second time any different? Did it simply run out of phases? Oh, I guess Phase 3 takes a long time to form. Did she get no XP for killing the chimera because it's not actually dead?
Those gauntlets seem rather big for her. Are they also Epic grade and do they shrink to fit the user?
inb4 the nice guy who sold them food tries to murder and/or rape them in their sleep or something.
That is part of the curse, they shrink and feel too tight on people's hands. But in her case they fit just perfectly.
>inb4 the nice guy who sold them food tries to murder and/or rape them in their sleep or something.
He is a civilised Japanese person who got isekaied as evidenced by the t-shirts and good food he provides, unlike the magical European barbarians he is forced to live amongst.
I assume that all our heroine's cursed acquisitions will magically resize.
Also, so much internal dialogues. Its almost like they don't know how to turn a book into anime without reading out lines from the book.
They're so yuri omg
It's nice to see Jean already suffering from the consequences of his action. I hope the party keeps talking about Flum around him.
It's driving him crazy already. He's going to find her and (try to) murder her to death for good.
This shapes up to be one of my favorite shows this season. I like the girl, she has guts. The pacing of both episodes was nearly perfect. Good times.
Anyway that was a unique monster fight with an ability I don't think I have ever seen before. Curious where this is going...Kind of sounds like Dein is being set up as a near future antagonist, since he seems interested in taking over the Slaver's business now that he is dead. Also...the mystery of why the church is investigating. I wonder if its to do with the cursed sword? Or maybe they found out Flum was there and were going to free her?
\* Please don't assume that everyone knows this, but Spider-Man's greatest villains is said to be his writers. They put that hero through hell. I just saw the 1994 cartoon, and based on that, I wouldn't be surprised if hell is involved in his life
Milkit being exposed to something akin to mustard gas...
Geez, the people in this setting suck. But that's how a lot of people in the real world treat enslaved people...
Narrator: "They acted this way because of this......"
Loving the show so far, I just can't help but think the writers overlooked such a simple solution, that even I thought of the second we learned she could heal her wounds.
Also werewolfs merging into a gruesome monster? Can't say I have seen that before. Also their powers, it's not your usual rpg-like anime I guess
The worst part of this episode is the dialogue between the two girls. They expect me to ship this? Bandage girl for two episodes has had zero thoughts beyond "I'm unworthy of good things" and "I shall serve you unquestioningly".
I do appreciate that when she was told to back away from the fight, she actually bailed and left the fight. I feel like 90% of the time when an anime character is told to retreat they don't because they're stupid.
The church seem unusually interested in the death of a slave trader. I wonder if it's related to Flum?
I like that we're getting flashbacks to Flum's time in her old party, that were actually good or useful. Highlights that some people were even nice to her. (Way better than a lot of other kicked from the party anime that make everyone from the party of the same note.)
Holy shit, someone actually obeying when told to run away??
God, that werewolf is so freaky. Especially when it comes back with multiple limbs
I really hope more people find this anime. The budget may be low but the story and passion are there.
And I think it's a good sign that she still trusts the advice of the party members that were nice to her? Maybe internally, she has some idea that it was just the Sage (lol) who lied to her.
Wonder if Miltk is going to get her face healed, or if it's going to stay as a facial disfigurement that's actually disgusting to look at. On one hand, it would feel like a cop-out of external healing is used to internal acceptance, but at the same time it's not like I want her to continue hating her face (plus you know, cute girls are nicer to look at and all - maybe that makes me shallow, but whatever).
Nice to see that the Sage (lol) is the only one malding because he's the one who wasn't thinking of Flum at all when he kicked her out, while the other party members actually saw her as a person, appreciated what she did for them, and still let her go because they wanted what's best for her. It's also funny (in a weird way) to think that the party falling apart implies that Flum was the one keeping the peace when the Sage (lol) was being abrasive (I'm assuming that the other party members get along decently since they seem like alright people).
Wow, they didn't even try to hide at all that they sent the two on a suicide mission. Like, either they're lying and know they tried to kill them and might have some plans for that, or they're not lying and they're getting stomped. Sure, there's the possibility that they're just terrified little girls, but is it really worth the risk? Douchery trumps intelligence I guess.
Uh, that's not ominous at all!
I might be locked in.
