Hi youssefm3112009, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

I guess it helps if you can narrow down genres you like or might like in theory? If you like the idea of stuff like demon slayer I’d even argue that something like yu yu hakasho or JJK might be something you’d like they’re just examples ofc

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

youssefm31120092026-01-15 19:05

Should I watch fullmetal alchemist before fullmetal alchemist brotherhood?

Critikit2026-01-15 19:37

No, two different animes. One was made before the manga ended and went rogue, still good. Brotherhood followed the manga.

youssefm31120092026-01-15 20:03

Well if they are not dependant on eachother then Ill give brotherhood a try

Critikit2026-01-15 20:10

It might feel lighthearted at times, but it's actually one of the darkest mainstream animes.

EmperorBlast202026-01-15 18:58

try summertime rendering

youssefm31120092026-01-15 19:06

Looks nice ig Ill give it a try

UnfairTarget28522026-01-15 19:01

U might like attack on Titan try it

youssefm31120092026-01-15 19:04

I did watch the first 2 episodes but i didnt rlly like it

UnfairTarget28522026-01-15 19:05

What genre do u prefer

youssefm31120092026-01-15 19:07

Maybe something dark or psychological liked death note

PhysicalTailor67532026-01-15 19:30

You could try Happy Sugar Life. One of the best psychological anime's I've seen (Granted I haven't seen all that many). Then there's also Evangelion, but the original has quite a bit of nudity in the later episodes, not sure about the remake tho.

frodex_frodex2026-01-15 21:29

Ergo Proxy?

gud_fellow2026-01-15 19:19

Watch Gachiakuta.

Haunting-Argument-162026-01-15 19:27

If you like death note youre gonna love monster. Its death note cranked up to a 1000, it is a slow burn tho. Another amazing anime with insane depth and story is attack on titan obviously. JJK is pretty solid if you like action anime. I wouldnt suggest any of the big 3 right now since their inital episodes havent aged well at all. Start one piece after youve really started enjoying anime

youssefm31120092026-01-15 19:28

I watched like 15 episodes of Monsters it is good but like soo slow paced

Haunting-Argument-162026-01-15 19:29

Yeah lol thats the point its a really slow burn and isnt for everyone. Id say the first 3 quarters are interesting but pretty slow paced, then it quiets down a bit, and just fucking blasts towards the end. Since death note is your fav definitely givr monster another chance youd love it

Rasmalai292026-01-15 19:49

Watch kaguya sama love is war and also grand blue

Zestyclose_Sink_10622026-01-15 20:24

Try jujutsu kaisen

theMightOfNazarick2026-01-15 20:42

If you liked the mind games aspect of Death Note:
- Code Geass
- Tomodachi Game
- Kakegurui (warning: some ecchi)
- Classroom of the Elite

If you like anti-heroes or morally questionable MCs like Light:
- Overlord
- Youjo Senki
- Talentless Nana (also has suspense like Death Note)

Is there any anime where a hero is summoned from another world. But the summoning requires an equal trade from the summoning world(fantasy world)to go to the heros world ( earth) and the show acutely focus on the person from the fantasy world and learning everything they can about advance ments they made
Could be an alternate earth where they use magic or just supernatural theme
