I Shall Survive Using Potions is seriously enjoyable
Okay, maybe its just me, but I love this anime so far. It's pretty relaxing, the art style is to die for, and I just love the overall vibe of the show. I have never heard of it and it just randomly popped up after I finished a show, then I just watched it. Does anybody else know this show, and if you do, do you like it? If not, why?

They're all very similar with the same story beats.
I ended up giving it a 5/10 because to me, like unfortunately too many one cour series nowadays, the pacing felt incredibly rushed in various instances and the writing poor.
But I can also see how one could find it relaxing and enjoyable as the art style is cute and it kind of has a laid back attitude in how the plot wanders all over the place and branches out in some outlandish directions, really stretching the value of potions as a "cheat skill" and the definition of potion "containers".
I also found it hilarious how brazenly kind of arrogant, unscrupulous, and even mean-spirited they seem to portray the main character at times, but couldn't discern whether it was intentional or not and if she was just designed to be one of those characters who gives no fucks. Either way, that aspect of it - the haughty and rude, slightly unusual main character, did provide some humor to it (intentionally or unintentionally) and more entertainment value in that sense.
I kind of place this one in the same tier with isekai which came out exactly the same time in the same season with, to me, what was a similar level of writing quality, like Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro. Except unlike that series, this was the kind which never came off as attempting to go for any drama and sad scenes as it wasn't intensely focused or taking itself serious enough for any of that, but it wasn't a played straight comedy either.
Just one of those power fantasies with a woman who felt and acted "above it all", like all the male power fantasy isekai and hero's party ones, villainess series, etc. I think that these also have the tranquility of knowing intuitively that there are basically no stakes.
Personally I thought Average Abilities was the best FUNA anime, followed closely by 80k Gold.
I much prefer FUNA’s Didn’t I Say to make me Average series and 80,000 Gold series because of that. A shame Average’s anime was so mishandled. :/
