I just want to say: Bocchi the Rock! is hilarious!

Not going to spend a lot of bandwidth on this post, I just wanted to recommend this anime wholeheartedly. I shied away from it for a long time thinking it was just some silly anime about a girl rock band. Don’t ask me why. It’s great fun, the anime is fun, the characters are great. It’s now up there in my pantheon of great comedies like Grand Blue, My Bride is a Mermaid (which I flog every chance I get), and School Rumble. Check it out!

Different director, but we got the understudy for Season 1, so at least we know we got someone who'll bring the same passion for the project to this season. Means we're less likely to get One Punch Bocchi Season 2.

From what i remember, the s1 director went to direct season 1 of Frieren and recently announced that they would be stepping back due to exhaustion

Truth. Didn't even take me more than a few episodes to decide it was one of my favourites. There are very few anime that get the experience of having social anxiety as well as Bocchi the Rock in my opinion. It being funny af is the cherry on top.
