Anime reccomendations to watch with Family please!

Hi! I love watching anime and I am trying to get my family into it with me. I just can't think of what to start them on though. I really want them to be hooked so they'll want to watch more with me.

What are some good starter animes?

They DO NOT like
- fan service
- major gore

Any help would be greatly appreciated!❤️

Whats the maturity level for the fam? That's definitely a major need to know. Bc theres some peek shit out there that I could recommend but not if they're under 15. Or if they're children. Unless you let a 12 watch gory shows I'd suggest Fullmetal Alchemist (which I don't think is gory compared to other anime).

Buddy Daddies, Spy x Family, Backflip!, Haikyu, Ranma ½, Fruits Basket, Blue Box, Sailor Moon, Windbreaker, The Morose Mononokean, Bocchi the Rock, Skip and Loafer, and Frieren are all good options off the top of my head.

Doesn't Buddy Daddies have a couple of short scenes with blood? OP's parents may not like them. But that aside, it's good series!

Ranma is good too, but it may have "light fanservice" XD

OP said no "major" gore so I think its okay! I cant handle gore, so I used myself as a scale lol same on the fanservice stuff!

I see! Good list though, I'd also add Natsume's book of friends, The Yuzuki Family's Four Sons, a sign of affection, Mushishi, march comes in like a lion, etc

* Skip to Loafer (SoL)

* A sign of affection (shoujo romance)
* Fruits Basket (shoujo romance, drama)
* Yuri on Ice (spokon with queer themes but the main focus is on the ice skating)
* My new boss is goofy (SoL)
* Buddy Daddies (there are a couple of short scenes with blood, but no excessive gore)
* wotakoi (Josei romance)
* 7th time loop (fantasy romance. There is a short scene in the beginning with blood, but that's all)
* Cherry Magic (if they're are fine with homosexual romance, this is a cute romcom BL)

*365 Days Until the Wedding* was a favorite of mine, and i feel like the basic scheme behind the plot could make the leap to anime newcomers easily. No gore or notable fanservice i can recall. (officeplace rom-com)

*Skip and Loafer* is very endearing, and has a sequel coming eventually to hook them along more. (school rom-com)

*Bocchi the Rock!*, and you just attack your group with its mild oddness and hope enough of the group is just like Bocchi frfr. (band comedy/SOL)
