Does anybody have recommendations I've seen quite a few and I already have a long list.

I have a very long list of what I want to watch but I have no idea where to start any recommendations?

Hi Curious_Welcome6630, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

How do we know what's in your list?

Curious_Welcome66302026-01-16 10:03

Oh shoot your right I'll make a comment

dreamchaser1234562026-01-16 10:03

I suggest the anime "How to Punctuate Properly."

Curious_Welcome66302026-01-16 10:10

Oh sorry I have dyslexia and punctuation is one thing I struggle with.

Okay my list includes. The apothecary diaries,The fragrant flower blooms with dignity,Dan Da Dan, Jujutsu kaise, Hunter x Hunter, Demon slayer, Delicious in Dungeon, death note, Black clover, the promised Neverland,Saiki K, Beast Stars,Hells paradise, cells at work, and maybe Kakegurui I've seen some people say this one is pretty weird.

Just read the synopsis of all the anime and start with what takes your interest.

Curious_Welcome66302026-01-16 10:12

I know Im just worried I'm going to pick something that seems nice a sweet and ends up being very violent

gud_fellow2026-01-16 10:13

What type of anime you want to watch? Like for e.g., action, romance, Isekai, fantasy?

Curious_Welcome66302026-01-16 10:16

Really anything but my favorites are romance, fantasy and action

gud_fellow2026-01-16 10:25

Watch The Apothecary Diaries, it has a good plot, set in ancient china(not fantasy or action) and romance as a subplot. This is the most popular one in this list.

Watch The Secrets of the Silent Witch, it is fantasy anime with romance as a subplot.

Watch Zenshu, it is a Isekai with romance as a subplot. (Animation is peak)

Watch Darling In The Franxx, it is set in a dystopian world, has romance.

Watch Call of The Night, if you want a rom com with vampires, it's really good.

Curious_Welcome66302026-01-16 10:26

Thank you so much! 😊

No Problem, I'm glad to help.

Have you seen Cyberpunk: Edgerunners yet? It is fairly romantic and not overtly violent I mean there is fights and such but it isn't overly graphic. It is actually a real tear jerker if I am being honest.

Beneficial_Law_2862026-01-17 01:41

Jujutsu Kaisen is a must for me. Hunter x Hunter is also good but has heaps of filler , Demon Slayer is also great. I don't really know many of the others aside from Death note which is also good but I have heard of some being well liked such as "Apothecary Diaries"
