My first ever crush is an anime weeb, what should I watch to be on a similar level with him??(Read subtext)

This is very stupid, and I'm so embarrassed to make this post... I really like the guy and want to know some stuff in case we manage to have a conversation(we're both introverts I'm coping). He watched **JoJo's bizzare adventure, Jujutsu Kaisen** ~~and Umamusume(I feel like he watched this jokingly)~~ on a smartboard at lunch. I watched it too, and not because of boredom, but because it was actually interesting. I always wanted to get into anime but was too lazy... But now, I really do want to watch it. If you could provide links, that would be helpful. Just a few is enough, I still have a ton of schoolwork so I can't binge watch anytime soon. Thanks a lot >\_<!!

Probably not. It's one of the better sports dramas I've seen. The baseline premise is quirky, but it's a franchise with a lot of soul.
