*Wait, did I just get tricked into watching Twilight?* Well dang, it's anime so it's totally worth it.

DugACCat2026-01-16 18:00

Yeah I feel similarly. Well I’m stuck now, so might as well settle in…

ObvsThrowaway51202026-01-16 17:48

Hot vampires *and* hot werewolves? It’s a real Twilight/Vampire Diaries type deal up in this piece huh? lol.

Frontier2462026-01-16 17:57

This really is Reverse Harem Twilight.

Though at least Sooha is cute and likeable.

ElectricalAd70092026-01-16 18:32

It good, bud nothing special

Admirable_Attorney402026-01-16 18:48

Its literally Reverse Harem Twillight 😂😂

ChapinThrowaway2026-01-17 02:09

That said it seems to be a fun show so far. Some interesting characters and a drama/mystery plot. Not expecting this to be a masterpiece but I'll be watching it and surprised it's stuck at 32 upvotes.

_Ridley2026-01-17 02:13

> surprised it's stuck at 32 upvotes.

Some maladjusted weirdo(s) downvoted the thread, which doesn't help.

mekerpan2026-01-17 04:47

Still under 40.

Lots of downvoting noted today -- in various episode discussion threads. I really do wonder if this is done manually -- or has someone created a bot that they can unleash.

Still and all, it seems like standing in line to ignore this particular series. I didn't expect much, but it has not shown itself "disposable" yet. Since Friday is pretty empty (except for Frieren), I expect this one will stay on my watch list unless it takes a serious turn for the worse.

_Ridley2026-01-17 05:31

It's completely ridiculous, but it's also made for me, so I'll absolutely be keeping this one. I love a silly reverse harem that barely tries to be believable.

JamesSomdet2026-01-16 19:35

Honestly, this is like one of those fanfics where MC is a self insert for the author, and I don't actually mind it.

NanDemoKnaives2026-01-16 20:17

Seems like Sooha's some kind of vampire Queen or some entity that has control over vampires and werewolves. Her words had so much power on them.

Solon being half vampire half werewolf might make things more interesting.

mekerpan2026-01-16 20:34

Right. Sooha clearly has a whole other level of power from both the werewolf hotties and the vampire ones. She definitely has power over both sorts. I am wondering if some "normal" humans are trying to provoke tension between the two groups? And also wondering WAS Sooha's childhood friend actually killed by vampires. Or was that a similar sort of setup?

I keep getting the feeling that her friend was actually a vampire but it doesn't really make sense yet.

NoHead17152026-01-17 05:44

It'll be funny if Sooha was the Moon Goddess incarnate. Maybe that's what the title means and I can see how both vampires and werewolves are controlled by the moon.

NanDemoKnaives2026-01-17 13:25

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Coranis2026-01-17 15:59

Maybe a witch? Though I guess that doesn't explain the super strength.

AshenSacrifice2026-01-18 07:01

Im guessing siren or witch, something like that

Williukea2026-01-16 21:14

So my guess that MC was half wolf half vamp was false, but we did get an actual half wolf half vamp. Now my prediction is MC is another kind of entity, like an angel or something

Sorry, your comment has been removed.

- Hey, the formatting of your spoiler tag is wrong. You need to include the spoiler source in there, and you also need to follow the format exactly how it's written (no spaces and such) or else it won't properly work.

It should be like this:

[Spoiler source] >!Spoiler goes here!<

Williukea2026-01-16 23:17

I did not ask for spoilers, if I wanted spoilers I would go to source material corner

Eminence_Fr0nt2026-01-17 19:58

Shot in the dark, im gonna hard read and say Witch or something

SYZekrom2026-01-17 01:08

So Sooha has some power of domination over... is it just monsters like vampires and werewolves? Does she have it over normal humans too?

And that's in addition to her super-strength. Super-strength is a power, right? The vampires aren't all superhuman in strength, one of them specifically has superhuman strength as a power, the one that lifted the dumbbells last episode and said that Sooha was equally strong as him this episode.

Meanwhile, the half-werewolf doesn't have a superpower, unless you count being half-werewolf as the superpower. Interesting

Western-Internal-7512026-01-17 09:53

I don’t think she has power over normal humans because then she wouldn’t have been all alone and shunned in her past.

The only reason why she has this double harem of guys around her now are her powers that affect them.

SLE-62026-01-17 02:04

Is Crunchy playing the Japanese audio for the English dub for anyone else?

Basic-Equipment-66742026-01-17 03:07

Yup it's odd it hasn't been fixed yet

Gamerdog90002026-01-17 18:12

still hasn't been fixed yet even though the episode came out yesterday

BlackRoseofWinter2026-01-18 13:49

My English dub was fine a few hours ago, so I guess it's fixed. I don't want to read subtitles because I feel like I do that often enough as it is, but boy am I having problems with the accents in the English version. The boys all grew up in an orphanage together, why do they have like 7 different accents? The first episode I was mildly charmed by the novelty of non American accents for the English dub but it's proven very distracting in short order.

RebellaTheEnchanted2026-01-17 03:22

Dark Moon is what Diabolik Lovers shoulda been. In Diabolik Lovers Yui had to go through hell and back, being abused and fang r**** at every corner until she finally won the love of the brothers.

I’ll be tuning in for sure.
