Is Unnamed Memory worth watching?
Hey guys, I just finished ep 6 of unnamed memory. I have no fucking idea what the fuck is going on. Like [Unnamed Memory]>!in ep 6, she's denying to be his fiancée, but later jumps into his arms to kiss him!<. I was left wondering if I skipped 5 episodes of romantic development or something. I've heard the light novel is good. The anime feels like they speedran the adaptation.
So does it get good? Or I have to watch another 18 episodes in confusion? If that's the case then might as well just drop it.

I watched it and I enjoyed it. But I have different tastes than you. If you aren’t feeling it then it isn’t for you, and that’s okay.
what a useless comment that offers no insight or room for discussion
Btw, insight into preference? they thought it felt rushed, I didn’t. Really not much to discuss or debate? It comes down to preference.
talk about why you liked it, why you didnt think it was rushed, why you disliked some parts, how season 2 compares to season 1, etc
[Unnamed Memory] >!did you honestly feel it's not rushed? Even after the main couple kissed out of nowhere, she was saying she didn't wanted to be his fiancée, but they later in the same episode, they kissed nonchalantly. Yeah, feels plenty rushed to me, it's too much rushed to NOT notice.!<

Better read the source.
Wr.madr it further than you did, making it about 80% through the show, but sort of came to the same conclusions where we we 'understood' what was going on, but at the same time weren't really sure what was going on or why.
If the romantic development seems to be missing, that is because it was cut almost in its entirety.
If you think the story has potential, read the books. You will be astonished, how many more scenes and entire story arcs there are.
To give a short example. (Spoiler warning for the first 25% of book one (skipped in episode 2):
In the anime, Oscar picks up a random girl from the witches tower, no one suspects she might be the only known inhabitant of said tower (aka the witch) and everyone is super surprised, when she immediately turns out to be the witch.
In the LN, she arrives, is viewed with mild suspicion, then seen as the culprit for a murder mystery during a festival, having to clear her name. After that, she works with the knights for 6 months and then they’re surprised when it turns out, she’s the witch.
What appears to be shoddy writing in the anime is just it skipping two thirds of the story.
>In the LN, she.....she's the witch
Yeah that's massive amount of content skipped, I'm glad I made this post and I'm glad I'm dropping it. The story seems good tho, I'll consider reading the books.
Thanks!
I'm dropping it, this anime wasted my time
