Looking for anime or manga where the MC stays loyal to the girl he loves (no “helper girl ends up as love interest” trope)

Hey! I’m tired of the trope where the main character is in love with Girl A, then Girl B (who helps him) ends up becoming the actual love interest — basically anti-Toradora stuff.I just want to see how this stupid trope gets subverted.
I’m looking for series where:

* the MC genuinely loves Girl A from the start
* Girl B may help, but does **not** become the true love interest
* the MC stays loyal to his feelings and pursues Girl A until the end
* no “helper girl magically turns out to be the better match” plot

I mean titles that break the typical Toradora trope, where the MC actually ends up with the girl he loves. Can you recommend any?Thanks!

The mc still ends up with the main girl 90% of the time.. those are basically fake harem since you can tell who is gonna win at the end of the story most of the time since there is an obvious main girl.

yeah i actually wanna see a show where girl b wins but girl A was his initial crush who we thought hed end up with and not a childhood friend he barely interacted with til girl b appears and who he has no chemistry with

Not really — I mean titles where the MC is clearly in love with a secondary heroine from the start, and in the end he still ends up with her, not the main heroine. Something similar to 2.5-jigen no Ririsa

The MC is clearly all about Ririsa up to the point where S1 ends in that series. What you're describing is a rarer situation like Ichigo 100%.
