Best recent anime movies?

Another holiday season has come and gone. However, the ebb and flow of work has yet to return to the latter and require me to work nights and weekends, and a long weekend now awaits.

I used to watch a lot of anime movies, but stopped in the past few years or so. Trying to get back into it after watching Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle and Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc. Both were quire impressive for their excellent animation, emotional depth and deep storytelling. I'd love to watch more anime movies that offer similar high-quality content.

What are some recent anime movies that you would recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Would not call this recent

It's not new but if you have never seen it "Vampire D" is a masterpiece it still holds up well visually as well. I wish I could rewatch anime movies like Vampire D with fresh eyes.

Hyakuemu, Hyakuemu and Hyakuemu (100 Metres). Nothing else comes close.

And from not so recent ones (or maybe it can be still considered as recent), The First Slam Dunk.
