Hi XZFireY, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

A great time to watch this since it FINALLY got a sequel announced.

Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-17 10:53

I Agreeeee FINALLY!

Illustrious_Arm_7322026-01-17 10:59

Also kamisama kiss, noragami, kimi ni todoke, re:zero, my dress up darling, link click, oshi no ko, demon slayer and guilty crown

Virtual_Technology_92026-01-17 08:01

Steins Gate, Gurren Lagann are very good feel free to check those out.

Do not see any of the big three here.

Give a shot to naruto, one piece or bleach. Or dragon ball.

DotHead22242026-01-17 08:13

You have to watch Akame ga Kill; it's not very long and it's worth it. It's about 90% faithful to the manga, so it's definitely worth it, and the only difference is the ending.
Another one I can recommend is Parasyte; it's also short, and I feel like it can really grab you in no time.

XZFireY2026-01-17 20:09

Alright

SushiMonstero2026-01-17 08:13

Watch the show "Mononoke" it may seem obscure at first but it's reeeallly good. There's a season and 2 movies on netflix.

Made in Abyss is fucking AMAZING. So there's 2 that'll keep you busy. You won't regret it.

Evangelion of course if you haven't watched it.

XZFireY2026-01-17 20:06

I think Made In Abyss is the one I’m most interested in

EarAppropriate73612026-01-17 08:16

Solo Leveling, if you haven’t already seen it.

duncandun2026-01-17 08:36

Why is it 1 2 4 and why is fairy tale unranked but up there?

XZFireY2026-01-17 19:52

it’s more of a emotional thing

ElectricalAd70092026-01-17 08:58

Devil man crybaby

XZFireY2026-01-17 19:53

I’m actually watching that currently

ElectricalAd70092026-01-17 19:54

Good choice, broo

DarkMalava2026-01-17 09:16

Proposal: Commit to really long animes, like Dragon Ball (the entire saga) or Naruto. Yuyu Hakusho is a great option too. What about all Pokemon in order? That will give Japan enough time to produce new animes by the time you're done. I don't recommend animes in emission 'cos chances are they might get cancelled or take 20 years to finish.

Ah, and do yourself a service watching Crayon Shin-chan.

XZFireY2026-01-17 20:16

I’m on EP 86 on One Piece rn. I wanna start bleach because Aizen intrigues me. Itachi, Pain, and Obito do aswell

ChaosCatEmpress2026-01-17 10:07

Can definitely recommend Overlord and the Case Study of Vanitas on your interested list

XZFireY2026-01-17 20:10

Yeah, I love mystery

incrapnito2026-01-17 10:48

Solo leveling

Uma-apreciator2026-01-17 11:25

Uma Musume Cinderella Gray

cjrunswithcrows2026-01-17 11:38

Solo Leveling - it looks like we have a lot of the same taste since most of the anime I love are in your list and I really love Solo Leveling so it’s definitely worth a shot.

Angel Beats is also a good one, I haven’t watched it in quite a while but it’s always stayed on my list but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea - not very long either.

Rurouni Kenshin - a classic, they are working on remaking it and I haven’t stayed caught up with it, only watched the first season but the original is solid - the remake *seems* to keep in line with it from what I have seen thus far so you could do whichever you prefer for that one, but the original still looks beautiful even though it’s older.

The Devil Is A Part-Timer - just an all around good anime, with an interesting premise and it looks great and there’s some good humorous moments.

Black Lagoon: Funny, lots of action and an interesting enough premise, not at the top of my list per se, but still on the list nonetheless

XZFireY2026-01-17 20:19

Forgot to put SL and I def loved it, the other 4 I’ll check out. BLagoon is one that was def supposed to be one I named

jeynxv2026-01-17 12:46

You will love Parasyte, Steins Gate, assassination classroom and death parade

Tmac112232026-01-17 13:54

Re:Zero get past the first few episodes and then your into the best ongoing anime right now.

XZFireY2026-01-17 19:59

I actually watched Re:Zero a bit while back, I haven’t really tried much Isekai but I liked Rising Shield Of Hero (which I forgot to put)

animememelord_2026-01-17 21:02
