Synopsis:

The style of borrowing the abilities of historical figures to fight was neither invented nor popularized by Fate. For example, Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei existed, and this kind of style has been around for a long time. Fate is just one example among many.

Extremely large cast of characters on both sides. Each one usually have some sort of creative power except the main MC.

Its dumb. Don't expect any of the historic figures it references to be portrayed in any depth, you can tell the author skimmed their wiki articles and stopped there.

The battles are mostly nonsense where both characters use their ultimate moves right at the start and then one dies automatically. There's also no logic to who wins and loses.

The story and characters are pretty edgey but it keeps doing twists that just cause the previous plot thread to be dropped in favor of some new plot, until some new twist comes and the process repeats.

Its like a mix of the worst aspects of Fate, Akame Ga Kill and Chainsaw Man.

So if you like at least 2 of these 3 I'll say give it a try, but don't expect anything good.

One must be really dumb to hate on the future voice actor for doing their job.

It wouldnt even be the first controversial character addition in an anime: Drifters had evil Jesus, Record of Ragnarok had Shiva.

My favorite story about casting a Hitler is JoJo rabbit. In that movie he's a wacky imaginary version of him and no one wanted to play wacky Hitler so the director did it. Great movie

I find it funny how Fate avoids using these infamous figures by having lore reasons for it as well. that anything after the 1900s is still fresh in some people's minds and therefore doesn't have enough mystery for it to be recorded on the throne.

There's Neil Armstrong, but he is more of a special case. Its not confirmed but he probably has the skill Pioneer of the Stars alongside Tesla, Da Vinci, Francis Drake, and the Voyager. People(or in case of the Voyager a "thing") who did something that seemed "impossible" at that time to be possible within their specific time period. So there's probably special treatment to that.

This is the craziest lineup of characters I ever seen. We got: Half-Demon Professor Xavier, Nero with demon and robot arms, samurai girl, the doctor from Rune Factory 5 but also a samurai, Doctor Apple Head, Nameless Soldier from war anime, Yandere Diantha, and wild hair bussiness... woman?

Dunno what this series is about, but I'm very intrigued.

I hope the adaptation is good, I am not going to call it the best manga I've read, it's just decent but I do like the initial plot quite a lot(through the MC is kinda annoying, not because he is too much of a good guy or anything like that but because the author doesn't seem to know what they want them to be sometimes)
