Dangers in my heart, it honestly is my favorite romance anime, youll just have to get through the 1st two episodes but trust me, after that, its peak.

So one unfortunate thing about this anime in relation to others is that it largely cuts through the nonsense. Kaoruko wants to be with Rintaro. So she goes for it. Rintaro likes Kaoruko. While he has some self doubts, he ultimately goes through things with her and relatively quickly. So many other anime feel like they can't do this until the end of the storyline. So they drag out whether they will get together until the end. Or, as in something like Kimi ni Todoke, while the two characters are clearly infatuated with each other, they insert artificial drama into the mix to drag things out. Making this anime an outlier.
