Just finished The Promised Neverland.Any similar anime?
Just finished The Promised Neverland and I loved it. Any recommendations for anime with a similar vibe? Also, is there a Part 2/Season 2 worth watching?
Hi oneToNsoup070, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

Noooo don't watch Season 2. They skip like 50 chapters from the manga and rush it. Just keep Season 1 in your heart

Nah that’s wild. I never read the manga, but skipping that much story is nasty work.

Made in Abyss has that same dark mystery vibe with kids discovering horrible truths. Season 2 of TPN exists but it's genuinely terrible, just read the manga instead.

Made in abyss.

Shinsekai Yori. Same deal, a group of kids coming of age in an idyllic utopia uncover dark truths about their world.
It’s a bit slower to unfold, but it’s still very good.

About half the storyline of Tengoku Daimakyou always felt the most similar to it to me, out of any other series (actually I prefer that series by quite a bit).
When I say "about half", it's because of the story structure - you'll know what I mean if/when you watch the series.

Thanks !
