Sonny boy episode 10

This show shows genuine depression and despair in a way i havent seen before. I don't understand at all what's happening with the story, but so far ive shed tears at least twice and it gave me an extistential awareness that forced me to go on a walk.

I wish the characters the best and i cant wait to finish it later today

Its hard to understand it, you gotta rewatch after you've finished to fully grasp it, also reccomend the video essay on the show from the yt channel "olafsomething".

The thing about *Sonny Boy*’s story is that it’s segmentation is key. The pieces don’t connect together per se, and can and should be digested separately, which isn’t as apparent on first viewing.

I’ll spare my thoughts on the ending to not spoil it, but I subscribe to the idea that, in a lot of ways, *Sonny Boy* is not a show that needs to be understood as much as experienced and that that ties into the overall themes of the show itself. Life isn’t always a string of connected and easy to follow plot lines. Things will come and go, and if you don’t get it on the first go that’s fine. In life the test tends to come first, and then the lesson, as it does too with *Sonny Boy*.

This should hopefully make a little more sense with the ending, and I wish you the best with it. SB’s easily my favorite TV show of this decade and I love any opportunity to think and talk about it.
