Hi, can you please give me some recommendations on something detective/mystery related? It doesn't have to be a murder mystery, I just want it to be engaging and somewhat fair from the solving perspective.

I've never been big on Japanese media but this year I've read all the When they cry VNs and since then searched for something that will scratch that itch. Recently I've watched Hyouka and really really enjoyed it, despite previously failing to engage with lots SoL type animes.

I've also tried Summertime rendering and didn't really like it. It was good in many aspects but those plot twists with little to no explanation became tedious.

Again it doesn't have to be a detective, Im searching for something that engages the viewer on some level and even I can't quite articulate what I want quite well + I'm overwhelmed by the amount of animes available, so sorry if my question is weird.
