What to watch next?

Help!! I’ve really been wanting to watch a new anime but I feel like I’ve seen pretty much all the big ones (rn currently watching hxh, on the game arc so kinda bored but I keep plugging away). My favorite of all time is attack on titan (seen it like 8 times lol) so if you have any recs similar with the mystery kind of vibe, please let me know! Here’s my top 10 just to show kind of what vibes I like the most, but I’ve seen about 50 total though. Let me know about any hidden gems you guys know of! (Also nothing with excessive fan service pls, and no I’m not watching one piece)

1. Attack on Titan
2. Jujutsu Kaisen
3. Monster
4. Naruto
5. Vinland Saga
6. FMAB
7. Code Geass
8. Fruits Basket
9. The Apothecary Diaries

Hi Famous_Barber_227, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

Have you watched Tokyo Ghoul yet?

Famous_Barber_2272026-01-17 22:52

Thought S1 I thought was okay, gave up during s2 though. I just couldn’t get into it :/

Yeah when the anime split from the manga it was a little rough, if you ever have the chance I’d recommend reading the manga

Currently, sentenced to be a hero is good. Also Uma Musume cinderalls gray is a really good sleeper pick.

I normally only watch fighting action anime but it was gripping the entire time

So many great anime, not sure where to start. It's hard to get a read on what u like since your list is pretty diverse. I looked at the chart subreddit came up with but there are several missing. I think it is a little old. My list doesn't include repeats from what others have recommended. There r several well-known anime that u have probably seen but I'll mention them anyway: Bleach, Sword Art Online, Black Clover, My Hero Academia, Kaiju No 8, Solo Leveling, Blue Exorcist, Fairy Tail, and Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World. Some older ones that r still on my favorites list: Samurai 7, Trinity Blood, Ninja Scroll, Basilisk, Samurai Champloo, and Samurai Deeper Kyo. Some newer ones I've gotten into lately: Tougen Anki, Hell's Paradise, The Water Magician, and Failure Frame. Hope that helps.

Just look up the top 500 most popular anime on anilist or MaL and you'll find something that matches your taste. Everything else is very niche or not popular after that.
