Looking for new anime to watch!!!

I’ve watched a tonne of anime so forgive me if I forget to mention any that I’ve already seen!

I tend to be drawn to more adult/serious anime. I enjoy a lot of action, i love violence, nudity (not fan service), sex, romance, mystery, but most importantly - world building and character development. Generally I don’t enjoy anime based on romance or comedy. I don’t like when the mc is over powered or the battles are predictable, I enjoy a lot of death and suspense. Also not a fan of the whole isekai genre.

Obviously there are a few exceptions to this.

What made you hate Black Clover and Solo Leveling? Serious question.

I found black clover a bit too predictable tbh, the characters also feel very hollow, even the other black bulls seem like they get 0 development, it’s always (this guy loves his sister too much, this girl loves to eat) I just found it boring and the characters hard to like

As for solo levelling, I enjoy the IDEA of it, the art style is really good too but I just found it so repetitive, the mc is just too OP (I know that’s the whole point) similarly to black clover - no other characters get any sort of interesting development

Just my opinion though 😅

Disclaimer: For me, the leveling alone wasn't that bad.
That said, I understand many people who didn't like it because the story is quite repetitive and predictable. New monster -> people get scared because it's so strong and some die like that -> Jin Who arrives -> do a bit of aura farming and then kill it.
I especially like the way the fights are animated and structured, but I can understand why some people don't care about that aspect.

Sorry i don't know why It translated solo leveling in "leveling alone".
Also I meant that the ppl die easily (sometimes the translation of reddit is not that great)

Yeah I hear you, the fights are cool to watch but like you mentioned, it just gets to repetitive and predictable for me personally

All very valid points. Solo Leveling definitely wasn't a 10 for me, but I enjoyed turning my brain off after a long day and watching it while eating dinner.

I did leave a lot of other suggestions in another comment.

Watch Mushoku Tensei (Jobless reincarnation). The story, character development, world building, almost everything about the anime and the light nov are amazing. If you can get past the main character being an odd-ball then you will love it. It is overall my favorite iseikai and I doubt that will ever change.

Yes, all characters are enjoyables, the races are intense like battles and the soundtracks looks like from mech anime

I think I have a good anime for you according to your discription -
1. School days (not a ordinary rom com anime for sure)
2. Redo of healer ( i didn't liked it but you may because of nudity violence I mean I never saw someone torturing girl while doing intercorse just to take revenge)
