What's your favorite aesthetics or vibe in anime?

I'm curious. What’s your favorite vibe or aesthetics in anime? Like any specific atmosphere or visual style that pulls you in.

For me, it's the old rural town vibe. It's cozy and nostalgic. Like, Dusk maiden of amnesia, Non non biyori or Another.

A close second is the lighthearted city vibe seen in school life anime. Like, Horimiya, Yano-kun's ordinary days.

I think a simple one is cool, like a saiki k or kotaro lives alone, its good sometimes not to be watching like an art piece and just relax and watch the show.

Monogatari series has my favorite aesthetics and vibe. It's really hard to explain, but I love the "backrooms" vibe of it. [This picture](https://imgur.com/a/sSExr8m) is a great example what I'm talking about. To me it's more than just art. My connection for this specific vibe is so deep, that I can't explain it.

I like something energetic, colorful and chaotic, like Maid Dragon, Uma Musume Beginning of a Era, Chainsaw Man Reze Arc and Konosuba

I love how vibrant the colors are in Interspecies Reviewer. Even in the pub where the place is built with bricks and wood, it looks so good. The whole Vegas aesthetic of the city looks so good and fit so well with what the show is.

I like the bright, adventurous feel. Shows like Frieren, MHA, have more of that color tone and vibe. Sunny days.
I’m not super into dark (gray) gritty tones. I’ve had enough of the dreary stuff tbh. I’m just not a fan of dull lighting I guess.

Fate/SN being the one exception. And tbh it’s not that it’s really dull or gray-tone, it just mostly takes place at night so it’s dark. The coloration itself is still quite vibrant.
