Best Examples of the "Poorly Chosen Hero" Character in Anime?
"The Hero turns out to be a fraud/entitled psychopath" trope is pretty dime a dozen in fantasy anime/isekai, but what are some GOOD examples of this character?
Not good as in "is actually a good person."
I mean what is a good example of this trope that's actually interesting and has narrative weight as a deconstruction instead of just a one dimensional douchebag for the OP Gigachad MC to humiliate?
One example would be Kouki from Arifueta for reference. He's a tool yeah but there's work put into his character and more layered than most of the other hero characters.
I want to find more anime where the fraud hero has more weight to him if possible. Appreciate any suggestions!

Like they’re all trying their best and they’re working with extremely limited information but they still get in Kumoko’s way. They all THINK they’re the main characters, they’re the elites of this world.
I think the LN handled it better but by the time they start butting heads with the protagonist you’ve spent a fair amount of time with them and are hoping that they just stop getting in her way lol
The previous heroes party probably play into the question even better, but that's later LN stuff that probably won't ever be adapted. I quite like how messy it gets for them.
