#**Horimiya**

> A secret life is the one thing they have in common. At school, Hori is a prim and perfect social butterfly, but the truth is she's a brash homebody. Meanwhile, under a gloomy facade, Miyamura hides a gentle heart, along with piercings and tattoos. In a chance meeting, they both reveal a side they've never shown. Could this blossom into something new?

>March 16

I'll try to drop some more shows til then, to be ready!

[](#slowgrin)

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:08

Time to be ruthless with those drops. [](#smugkaguya)

Magnafeana2026-01-18 23:13

Yiii thanks for the ping, I’m so excited 💃🏾

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:11

I'm looking forward to it too!

Shimmering-Sky2026-01-18 22:26

[](#mugiwait) for the March ones.

Gonna be part of the FLAG rewatch in February so I'll unfortunately miss the Horimiya part of the rewatch (I may end up checking it out on my own though because I hear it's good).

But if I'm not too swamped with whatever's going on in my life during march I think taking part in the Shikimori and Insomniacs rewatches sounds like fun.

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:13

Awesome, I'll give you a reminder tag before Shikimori then! And I definitely recommend watching Horimiya later on when you have the time.

eightcheesepizza2026-01-18 23:14

I've been meaning to watch *Insomniacs*, so I'll join for that one.

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:14

Awesome, glad to have you join us!

zadcap2026-01-18 23:17

I did not realize Horimiya was so long! I will likely miss a few days in March :-(

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:17

That's all right, if you miss a day or two then you can always post your thoughts about those episodes too along with the current daily discussion.

sfisher9232026-01-18 23:30

I'm down for all 3

* **Horimiya** \- S2E11 in particular would be nice palette cleaner after a particularly rough episode of another show I'm rewatching (Also my first rewatch since 2023)
* **Shikimori** \- Nothing much to say except this is going to my first time watching it since it finished airing back in 2022
* **Insomniacs After School** \- A slight problem I have (This is all on me) is I tend to watch this pretty late at night to embrace the night time atmosphere (I also do the same thing with Call of The Night)

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:20

Awesome! And I know exactly which Horimiya episode you're talking about. A very good one. \[Horimiya\] >!Too bad the timing didn't work out to actually have it fall on Valentine's Day.!<

Shadow_Ass2026-01-18 23:31

Not me reading this while rewatching Horimiya lmao(The OP is playing in the background)

Nick_BOI2026-01-19 01:10

I'm gonna need to take note of this one, Shikimori and Insomniacs are two of my favorite romance anime (and I've seen quite a bit).

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 01:22

They're both favorites of mine as well! I'll give you a reminder tag before Shikimori and Insomniacs start in March. Are you interested in Horimiya too?

BaytaCosmico2026-01-19 01:50

I should be able to participate for most of this. I'll be a rewatcher for the first season of Horimiya and first-timer for the rest. The threads go up in the middle of the night for me so I'll probably post in them a bit later.

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 04:01

Awesome! And no worries about posting late. I've yet to find a time that's just right for all time zones unfortunately, but I always read and respond to everyone's posts!

TheDanubianCommunard2026-01-19 14:31

Maybe the time of posting might be a bit gimmicky for me, but I will be there, for all three, watching all of them. It will not be a problem that this will go in parallel with the Iruma-kun (and the FLAG) one where I also be there.

I didn't got a notification in my inbox though.

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 17:14

Sometimes notifications don't show up for some reason, I've had that happen too. Looks like I didn't make any spelling errors in the tag though? [](#sakurathink)

TheDanubianCommunard2026-01-19 18:23

Maybe?

Tartaras12026-01-19 18:02

I'll throw my hat in for this! I haven't been part of a rewatch in a good while, so this should be fun.

I also haven't watched Horimiya since S1 aired, I've never seen Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie (but I've heard of it!), and I never did finish Insomniacs After School, so what a way to knock it all out.

This also fills the void where the since neglected Tamako Market Rewatch used to be. [](#sadholo)

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-19 18:47

Awesome, glad to have you join us for all three!

> This also fills the void where the since neglected Tamako Market Rewatch used to be.

I didn't have the chance to participate in the rewatch when it was still running, but this is a very sweet show too!

dontoff2026-01-21 07:02

I’m down to give ***Insomniacs After School*** another shot. I watched the first two episodes back when it was airing and then dropped it, not because it was bad or anything, but because it didn’t interest me as much as I hoped it would, and I was watching a lot of other stuff at the time.

My only worry is that I won’t have much time for the rewatch in March, but I hope I’ll be able to join.

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-21 17:00

It's totally fine if you can't make it for every discussion thread. I'll give you a reminder tag in March. Hope you'll enjoy the show!

Malipit2026-01-22 01:45

Welp, time to dive one more time in a [TRIPLE](#faito) rewatch.

Not sure if I'll do all three, but I definitely try to attend Horimiya as a rewatcher and Insomniac as a first timer to cross it out of my watchlist.

Heda-of-Aincrad2026-01-22 01:53

Awesome, glad to have you join us! This will actually be the first triple rewatch I've hosted, though not the first one I've participated in.
