Some Bleak anime recs?

Been getting back into some anime from when I was younger. I've been heavy on Bleak, depressing, or post apocalyptic stuff lately. rewatched Wolf's Rain, Cashern Sins, Eva.

Any recommendations with similar vibes or themes? old or new. trying to expand to stuff i havent seen but keep the vibe.

Doesn't get bleaker than takopi's original sin

aohige_rd2026-01-19 00:00

I am disappointed that no one brought up Now and then, Here and There.

Literally post apocalyptic world with brutally bleak storyline
