its just so on character and I wished we would have learned more about him
But its also perfect we dont know this weirdo
Didn’t think Usami would get sniped like that. The way Tsurumi held him in his arms was very Pieta-like. I’m sure that’s no coincidence with all that Virgin Mary talk with Jack earlier.
I guess the one thing everyone got from dude falling to his death and decapitating himself is that ya don’t need all the skins to find the gold. Shit’s ramping up after this for sure.
I was just weirded out he ate that finger
But this is kinda beautiful now
A third of the show is doomed Yaoi, especially the bear episode with the gambler.
Ogata betrayed him, Koito has doubts, and Tsukishima already knows how manipulative he is, Nikaidou is a dog.
As horrible as he is, he´s still not that terrible.
He's so so manipulative that he would do anything to achieve his goal. He did this in front of his platoon, so I wonder if this is just a performative act to boost the morale of his team (and make them trust him more).
The moment you're against him, he sees you as a potential enemy.
That´s the magic of Tsurumi, no one can predict that man.
Little Asirpa is precious
Too many good moments
And Ueji's death is so stupid...
This cast is as unhinged as ever lol
It is so stupid, but Ueji's death is perfect for the type of character Ueji is. The last disappointed face he laughs at before his death is himself.
Not getting to see their disappointed faces, slipping and falling because of his stupid actions
Finally that split second face of his own disappointed face getting him to laugh, god I kinda wished we had gotten more time with him
Yeah that felt pretty over the top, till I rememberd what he did to all those prostitutes
Also thats one hell of a take on Jack the ripper, I love it
But damn, this episode was extra gruesome with all this blood and gore.
So many deaths this episode, too. [I didn't really care much for Ueji](https://i.imgur.com/xGuAlBL.jpeg), so I don't really have much reaction to his death. Compared to Usami, who I've really enjoyed as a character ever since he was first introduced back in Season 2. [I'm definitely gonna miss this crazy dude.](https://i.imgur.com/nbfkf8r.jpeg)
I think we should expect more deaths, considering we're now on the last leg of the story. I don't think everyone will make it out of this alive.
I ❤️ this show so much.
That ending though. Looks like Kikuta has some sort of connection with Ogata. Interesting.
Jack The Ripper had mommy issues while Keji had daddy isues lul. Nice opposite pararells I just noticed.
How in the world can Ogata still work for the government after all that he’s done!?
Guys getting spanked, choked by their own intestines, biting off fingers, splatting like watermelons from freefalls, sniped, and I still can't help but want more because characters like Tsukishima, Koito, Nikaidou, Ariko, etc. didn't even get any screentime!
It's surreal to be in the endgame and finally be getting character exits via death. I thought nothing of Usami for a majority of the show but they propped him up as a dark horse so much these past 2 season, just for him to be the first to go!
GK writing never fails. Such clutch ways to justify Kadokara's presence this whole time and Usami chasing after him for an actual reason other than just being one crazy, zesty boy.
3 deaths in 1 episode is pretty crazy, but they're cutting this arc short already that I wonder if we'll ever get these many characters from all parties assembled or if the actual finale is going to be more personal.
Can't wait to see Tsukishima's reaction to Usami's death seeing as how they were the most loyal 7th Division members and this could act as a cautionary tale for him as he's already faltering in his allegiance to Tsurumi.
Obligatory Asirpa's mom was a baddie.
Juicy af episode clincher with the suave Kikuta-Ogata pass-by. Has the arguably most evil character been working for the "good guys" all along?!
First we go from Usami chasing down Kadokura to ending up in a fight with Ogata. This fight really resembles Ogata to a tee because if you think you've got Ogata down, he makes the surprise comeback. He literally loaded his rifle from the bullet that was in his mouth. Talk about insanity.
The episode had great choreography, but the scene that shined was when Ogata sniped Usami. As we have Sugimoto fighting Jack the Ripper, he is in Ogata's firing range. The fact his bullet goes through the room Sugimoto & Asirpa are in makes you wonder, is he aiming to kill Asirpa? Well, it makes sense he would aim for Usami given their rivalry.
This series wouldn't be how it was if we didn't get some Ainu culture mixed in. Although Jack the Ripper's reason for killing those women, simply rooted in the fact that his mother wasn't a virgin, is incredibly fucked up. Man, we're getting Sugimoto even more enraged than Asirpa is. Though the saying is, It doesn't matter who you come from; it is the life you put out for yourself. As this relates to Asirpa, her father's history is unknown, but she is moving forward with what she is doing for the Ainu.
Usami ends up making his way to Tsurumi and giving the skin he got from Kadokura. As well as some news that is most likely the skin on the back of Kadokura that is unfinished. This scene highlights a previous conversation between Usami & Tsurumi, wherein Tsukishima's flashback, Tsurumi took a blow for Tsukishima in front of his men. Which Usami mentions that Tsurumi called Tsukishima a brother in arms in front of his men to boost morale. In that scene, Usami even says he wishes that Tsurumi would use him as a pawn in the same way. Thus we get a very similar situation where Usami is bringing back a skin and information for Tsurumi, which can be viewed as boosting the morale of Usami's sacrifice. Now whether this is intentional or not on Tsurumi's part is yet to be determined.
It is quite ironic that Keiji Ueji's death happened because he aimed to disappoint everyone. But eventually the only one he disappointed was himself. Quite funny that his disappointed face, which looked like his father's face, is what his final laugh was at. Though he really laughed at himself.
- Disemboweling a killer then strangling him with his own innards
- Dragging his face against a brick wall
- Shoot him in one hand, stabbing him in the other
- Kicking him out of the window
- Finishing him off with a stomp to the face
- THEN, watching a DIFFERENT guy climb up onto a smoke stack, completely naked, only to fall and get decapitated on a ledge.
But of course, let's not forget the most brutal beatdown of this episode, which were all the spankings delivered to that poor man's ass.
Golden Kamuy doesn't relent!
It was so on topic though, I love it
But wow, I didnt expect that kind of violence and quick action to show up so fast
So many good moments, ass spanking, choking someone with their own innards and then meat crayon the wall with their face
Finall Uejis death was so on point I love it
At least he got to see one final disappointed face before his death
I was already expecting deaths from the prominent characters but it's still sad to see Usami the Cum Detective finally getting killed. Tsurumi really gave him what he wanted to hear as he passes. I like that the author gave him a really good comedic bit with Kadokura (Kadokura's moans though lol), an intense fight with Ogata and then that death scene.
I'm glad Keiji never got the satisfaction he wanted, the way everyone just went "meh" was so funny lol.
Kadokura being the last tattoo, and the last scene with Ogata and Kikuta being on the same side were both great twists. Things are definitely going to get messier.
Is this the end of Usami? It is the final season apparently, so I can imagine most of the cast might very well end the series as a corpse. And what an exit for Usami, being held in Pieta pose as Tsurumi bites off your finger. This series is weirdly sexual with its scenes, like a Cronenberg movie.
Loved everyone calling that gap toothed serial killer's bluff and him getting such an iconic self afflicted death soon afterwards.
I wonder if this entire season is going to be a running battle between a diminishing cast of characters? Its been exciting to watch so far.

Kaiji´s death was pretty "meh".
Not enough people watch this show.
I love the fight choreography in this show
* The brutal execution of Jack the Ripper is just a callback to how he his obsessed with virgin births. He got stabbed in the stomach, in both hands, and got a ring of blood around his head like Jesus. Even him falling out of the window was in a crucifix-like pose.
* Kadokura having the tattoo is actually disguised well. Remember, last season, one of the fugitives made him strip to make sure he had no weapons on him. We never saw his back then.
Which is such a shame. I know a lot of the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fandom would love Golden Kamuy
"Hahaha, spanking and virgin pregnancies!"
"Jesus christ, what a bloody execution"
"Haha, Private Usami up to his usual hijinks"
"Jesus fucking christ he's dead! They're mourning him!"
"Haha, Ueji is naked and shouting"
"Jesus fucking christ he's decapitated!"
But to me, I always took his words more literally as deceptively incorrect. By eating the finger bones Usami will NOT be with him forever. In 1 day Tsurumi will shit out the bones and they'll be nothing to him anymore. Whereas he KEPT his Wife/Baby's bones on his person at all times in a far more "permanent" way.
To me, this was another act of Tsurumi controlling his subordinate to his final breath, something he's done 100% of the time. And while Usami might interpret the eating of his finger as the ultimate compliment. To Tsurumi I think it's akin to "you're just the same as any other shit I take".
I’ve watched this show since season one but what the entire fuck did I just watch?
Men getting spanked.. Tekashi69 wanting attention.. butts in the wind get females pregnant, a man getting choked with his own organs, Ogata getting his ass best, Usami getting chilled and also getting ingested…
This show really one up itself on all levels I honestly don’t even know what to say.. it’s just truly unhinged.
Sugimoto was hella brutal this episode
But at least he gave Tsurumi some nice finger food to remember him by.
Ogata and Sugimoto brought the VIOLENCE today holy shit. Asirpa standing her ground against that sick fuck Jack the ripper was great to see. The whole double-triple agent plot is getting even better and Botaro with his steel lungs about to get his mvp moment.
