Let’s be real. What anime moment or habit confused you the most?
When you first started watching anime, what was the weirdest thing you experienced (it could be any trope, quirk, scene, transition, fan reaction, voice acting or anything) that made you go:
# “Bruhhhhhhhh…..what the-....?!”

Don’t use this thread to dunk on anime you hate or other people’s opinions. Be honest and share your experience, but let’s keep it light and funny, not hateful.
Bonus: If you want, tell us what happened and why it hit you weird.

But even after watching anime for literal decades, whenever I see a naked girl fondling and massaging the breasts of another naked girl, I still wonder what the fuck? Do girls really touch each other in the bathroom just like that?
I know girls can bath together, completely naked sometimes. I mean, I used to take my son to swimming class in a pool nearby and you have no idea how many naked guys I saw during that time. But fuck, if I ever attempt to fondle the balls of some guy, you could bet the cops would get involved.
So, what the hell? Keep your hands away from her, ma'am!
To me, was the "titles", i come from a culture thst goes "yes sir" "no sir" for older people, and when i watched Anime was dubbed in my language or spanish, they translated for my culture. Now, when i started to see my first Anime in Japanese (Naruto) i was confused with the "senpai" "chan" etc, then with other animes, with the famous on top of screen yellow subtitles explaining stuff i started to understand that part of anime and Japanese culture.
Feel free to search up the clip on YouTube. After I saw the that I just straight up dropped the show lol
For a particular anime? I'm sure there's better examples I'm forgetting but the one that immediately comes to mind is The Quintessential Quintuplets where the titular quintuplets all have different hair colors, different hair lengths, wear different accessories and have different sounding voices and yet there's numerous scenes written as if none of these differences exist and that's the way things are in-universe. Other fans had to explain it to me but its not something ever overtly said in the show. Not to mention contradicting it when its convenient. Totally bewildered me for so much of the show.
It's certainly treated as "we're true lovers no matter what anyone says"
Having consensual baby-making incestual sex puts it higher on the scale than most anime
