is it really worth it to finish tokyo ghoul

last scene i remember was hide being held and feds everywhere is it worth it to rewatch and finish or just move one? this was one of my fav shows and still is a good show in my opinion just haven't finished it.

when the manga was new i heard rumors of brainwashing and maybe gender confusion poor dude already when thru so much if u take into account the extra abuse brushed on in the anime. It's almost proven that Jason had his way with him. Made that get back so much worth it. if u think about it.

I heared the second season changed so much about anime that it is almost unrecognizable. I havn't read the manga but I can tell you one thing. I did not understand anything midway the second season. with the start of the third season it got even worse because they made some kind of anime exclusive ending to the second season and started somewhere in the manga again. you will sit there and just wonder what the fuck happend.

I don't know what kinda pot they smoked when they decided whatever happened in Season 2 and Season 3. They literally switched from canon to anime original to canon willy nilly.

First season was good. Second season was ok but not canon. The rest was canon but was not that good.

For me, it was never worth a rewatch.

In my opinion, watch first 2 seasons...and Read the manga where season 1 left off
Season 2 is like alternate version of manga... and i loved that too

and When you reached to the point where season 2 ends...You can watch season 3 side-by-side to Manga
Season 4 was a HORRIBLE adaptation... DON'T NEED TO WATCH THIS SEASON PLZ......**CONTINOUE MANGA TILL THE END**

Restart the manga from the beginning and just forget about the anime. Trust me, as someone who went to Root A with a very high open mind I really regret not spending that time watching literally any other 12-episode series.

My advice is finish the manga and just watch certain scenes that you want to watch from the anime. Despite how the anime was handled there's a few scenes I thoroughly enjoyed.

was the part with hide not the end of that series? They never picked it up again and the new series doesnt seem related to it at all. Different characters, etc etc
