8_Pixels2026-01-20 02:15

Yeah if you want fucked up look no further than this one. It's a doozy

I haven't even watched season 2 yet. I don't know if I want to lol

zenoob2026-01-20 02:40

Beautifully tragic. Highly recommend.

beerantula2026-01-20 04:41

It's so good, and the movie is incredible too

BlckMlr2026-01-20 05:32

Watch the movie dawn of the deep souls before starting season 2, season 2 literally picks up right after the movie.

Pinky_Boy2026-01-20 10:05

Oh boy, buckle up. Watch the third movie too if you haven't. The third mlvie is a direct sequel of s1, and acts as an intro for the s2

ActualRound76992026-01-20 02:05

Redo of Healer is a rape revenge fantasy isekai

JamesSomdet2026-01-20 02:08

Thank you, I'm gonna enjoy myself tonight on HiDive

ActualRound76992026-01-20 02:11

seconding made in abyss. HiDive is getting rid of a few pieces of that this month though. so before you watch make sure it’s all there. Otherwise you’ll have to “get creative” in how you watch it

Born_ty2026-01-20 02:08

Is there a sub or only sub

ActualRound76992026-01-20 02:10

subtitles only

corallein2026-01-21 22:31

Technically regression and not isekai. Both genres are horribly saturated with very similar kinds of power fantasy stories though.

MusubiKazesaru2026-01-20 02:06

Made in Abyss

Shinsekai Yori

Kenpu Denki Berserk

Devilman Crybaby if modern day is fine

I’ve watched that one

John_D_Badger2026-01-20 02:15

I was going to reply with this, as I'm in the process of watching it for the first time. Wow, there are some soul crushing moments.

MisterPeteArt2026-01-20 02:09

Made in Abyss 100%

No_Cockroach24672026-01-20 02:09

The tone can be pretty goofy, but if you're up for casual violence and gore in a dystopian shithole, Dorohedoro is a fun time.

Born_ty2026-01-20 02:10

I quite enjoyed that anime that one

IcyEngineering9262026-01-20 02:12

lodasi2026-01-20 02:15

Sentenced to be a Hero is airing this season and seems to be up this alley.

Born_ty2026-01-20 02:15

Ok I’ll check it out thank you

ThatGuy18932026-01-20 04:18

Scum of the Brave (written by the same author as Sentenced to be a Hero) is currently airing this season, it’s pretty dark but I wouldn’t call it fantasy. Not really sure what genre it really fits into. But it’s 🔥

CMC_Conman2026-01-20 02:18

Clevatess

kaydenwolf_lynx2026-01-20 03:35

Oh yeah I started watching it yesterday and I almost binged the whole thing in a single day, I didn't know what to expect from the opening but then it picked up and I couldn't turn it off

Madoka magica

Gushing over Magical Girls

Redo of a healer

Last 2 are nearly hentai at times.

kaydenwolf_lynx2026-01-20 03:38

Wait how is madoka magica almost hentai I watched the first few episodes long time ago and I just remember blood and dark stuff.

Happy sugar life I tried didn't finish it since I was just bothered by it, and elfen lied I remember finding that when I was really young I saw the first few minutes and turned it off and then I watched it maybe months or a year later?

Enough_Campaign_65612026-01-20 04:20

Ahh that's my bad I gushing over magical girls was missing. Happy sugar life is decent but your not missing anything amazing.

amrita6662026-01-20 05:21

Elfen Lied for sureee

Any-Computer-40532026-01-20 02:45

Right now, Shiboyugi seems real damn good

SouekiSennoSTM2026-01-20 02:59

- The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace (action fantasy)
- Petshop of Horrors (horror fantasy)

Affectionate_Pizza602026-01-20 03:41

Have you heard of Redo of Healer?

Kerzic2026-01-20 03:52

Unlikely to be mentioned by others...

**Hortensia Saga**. It's based on a video game and has some silly stuff in the beginning, but stick with it until the end.

Jrshb412026-01-20 04:01

Berserk

ThatGuy18932026-01-20 04:15

Roll Over and Die is currently airing this season. There’s two episodes out so far and it is the definition of dark fantasy.

PityBoi572026-01-20 04:16

Goblin Slayer

TrekCyber2026-01-20 04:17
