Trying to find a mech anime

I only bearly remember this but I remember an anime where someone is controlling a mech with their mind but they lose their body and get their mind stuck in the mech.

Does anyone know what it is?

I have one, but it's not anime; it's a Cartoon Network animation. It was made by the creator of Dexter's Laboratory, and it's called Sym-Bionic Titan. It's really good. It has mechs; you might be interested.
