Gore anime recc completed

I am kind of new to anime, have watched about 8 to 10.

and i think i know whats the type of anime i like.

i think where the leads fight for humanity and there is some kind of supernatural monstery thing involved. so i need recc based on that.

LIKE attack on titan, parasyte, chainsaw man got me hooked, i loved all of them.

i have also watched horimiya, deathnote, (my first anime liked it so much but didnt likee other anime of the same genre), classroom of the elite (currently watching), darwins game.

Hi Educational-Low-4744, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

Jujutsu Kaisen, doesn't gett TOO crazy with gore but it is quite violent especially s2

Educational-Low-47442026-01-20 09:30

Oh forgot to mention , i am halfway into s2 of jjk . Left it cause s3 wasnt released yet , will watch it after some time. Any other recc?

{Clevatess} is a newer one thats a dark fantasy and is excellent.

{Sentenced to be a hero} currently airing, has an amazing opening episode like clevatess and is also dark fantasy

{Berserk} the version from 1997 is good, or the 3 golden age movies. The newest berserk tv series is beyond awful so you should avoid that.

Useful_Project48982026-01-20 09:44

Berserk is definitely dark and gory. That was the first thing I thought of when I read OP's post.

Deadman Wonderland despite the end is a good gory vibe

Watched it 8 years ago maybe and found it boring. Maybe I have to give it one more try again

irene_magase2026-01-20 09:41

If you liked Attack on Titan, Parasyte, and Chainsaw Man, you’re clearly into dark action and supernatural threats, fighting for survival, not just random gore so I'd recommend this animes

Jujutsu Kaisen

Tokyo Ghoul

Demon slayer

Devilman Crybaby

Dorohedoro

Elfen Lied

Promise Neverland

Ajin: Demi-Human

Hellsing Ultimate.

Albinodynamic2026-01-20 09:45

Elfen Lied

Made in Abyss

Candid_Ad47612026-01-20 09:52

psycho pass, claymore, gantz are best watches after chainsaw man/parasyte.

That_one_bro_182026-01-20 10:04

Try
Elfen Lied

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Not anime but Pumpkin Night manga is also good if you wanna watch some gore with nice story

As an important heads up, **for OP** and anyone else who might be interested in watching Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (Higurashi When They Cry), make sure you start with either: the [2006 anime](https://myanimelist.net/anime/934/Higurashi_no_Naku_Koro_ni) (and it's [second half Kai](https://myanimelist.net/anime/1889/Higurashi_no_Naku_Koro_ni_Kai)), the original visual novel, or the manga adaptation.

The 2020 anime Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni: Gou (Higurashi When They Cry: New), is a sequel to the original story, not a remake. **Don't accidentally start with Gou**, as it's full of spoilers.

(_Note: in most (if not all) regions, the only Higurashi anime on Crunchyroll, is Gou. Also, the original Visual Novel is currently available on Steam, under the title"Higurashi When They Cry: Hou", with the first arc being free to download._).
