Looking for any recommendations

I’ve really gotten into anime over the last couple years, but I’ve hit a snag in trying to find something to watch.

Here’s the ones I’ve really enjoyed

Attack on Titan

Demon Slayer

Goblin Slayer

Hell’s Paradise

Mashle: Magic and Muscles

Solo Leveling

Kaiju No 8

Frieren

The Witch and the Beast

Chainsaw Man

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

JJK

Kabeneri of the Iron Fortress

Dan Da Dan

Re:Zero

Tower of God

Mushoku Tensei

Black Clover

Gachiakuta

I know alot of these are newer titles, I’ve not been into anime too long. Thanks in advance.

Hi WilliamsMS3, it seems like you might be looking for new anime to watch!

The users of this subreddit came up with [a chart of anime recommendations for newcomers and veterans](https://i.redd.it/0w1v880jtq661.png) and [an awesome longer flowchart](https://i.redd.it/vdzlkodz19c71.png). Maybe you can find something there that you'll like \^.\^

The new sentenced to be a hero, kaya-chan(scary ghosts one) and The Demon King's Daughter Is Too Kind!! are so good this season, I can't see a new anime and skip it without at least skimming through it since this season is SO GOOD

Edit: Tis time for torture season 1 is worth it if you enjoy slice of life and food, since it's gotten a season 2 give it a try imo

WilliamsMS32026-01-20 16:15

Thank you. I do like sentenced to be a hero, just wish I could binge it all.

Fire force

A certain Magical Index and the consecutive series

Baccano

I parry everything

Mob Psycho

Black lagoon

Monster musume

Grand blue

Ruroni kenshin remake and zero

Psycho pass

March comes in like a lion

Soul eater

Inuyashiki

Gantz

Vinland saga

Cosmic_Space_Beard2026-01-20 15:53

Black Lagoon and Gantz are great!

Friend_JohanLiebert2026-01-20 16:02

Yup , nowadays because of censorship and reel culture. People don't make adequate seinen animes.
So it's better to stick to old school. Prison school is great too.

Slick-pick2026-01-20 15:35

Try saiki K

BiggieCheeseLapDog2026-01-20 15:41

Gurren Lagann

Significant-Tree47522026-01-20 15:43

Start gurren lagann or HunterXHunter

I recently watched cyberpunk edgerunners and it was pretty good for me.

And I liked nichijou as a comedy!

* Violet Evergarden. The series, OVA, and the two movies which you can probably finish in a weekend. And I do hope you have plenty of tissue paper, the stories can make a grown man shed a tear. Everyone is gangsta until episode 10.
* SlamDunk, one of the best sport related anime.
* Berserk (1997)
* Cowboy Bebop
* The OG Fate series, you can probably watch it in this order for the chronological order:
* Fate/ Zero
* Fate/ Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (you can skip the OG Studio Deen version IMHO)
* Fate/ Stay Night: Heavens Feel Movies
* Part 1 - Presage flower
* Part 2 - Lost butterfly
* Part 3 - Spring song
* Fate/Grand Order, you can watch it in this order for the chronological order:
* Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE - Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot
* Wandering; Agateram
* Paladin; Agateram
* Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia
* Fate/Grand Order: Final Singularity-Grand Temple of Time: Solomon
* Fist of the North Star

Seems like youre pretty heavily invested into battle and shonnen anime atm so im gonna throw out some other genre bangers you can test the water with:

Cowboy bebop - jazzy fluid flowing episodic action adventure masterpiece in its own kinda genre

Pyschological thrillers: Erased, link click, deathnote

Philosophical/ scifi : Serial experiments lain, Ghost in the shell standalone complex

Wholesome/Slice of life: Silver spoon (also a food one), bofuri (videogames), by the grace of gods (isekai), k-on! (Girls Rock band)

Romcom: Maidsama, toradora, tomo is a girl, apothecary diaries (also medical mystery with political intrigue)

Some favs that just dont fit 1 genre:

Kids on the slope (jazz and drama)

Arcane

Berserk 1997 (horror, gore ,action)

Gungrave (gangsters)

Wolfs rain
