I started watching anime about a month ago.
I've watched the following so far:
Inuyashiki Last Hero 9/10 Chainsaw Man 8/10 Elfen Lied 6/10 And I'm currently almost at the end of the first season of Dan Da Dan.
Which is a 7/10 for me so far.
The most important thing for me is a captivating story. And please, no anime that only starts getting good after the second season.
A gripping story is the most important thing for me.
And please, no anime that only starts getting good after the first half season.

All of these are plot driven and have no bad seasons, you can look at the descriptions of the shows online and kinda figure out which fits the genre you’re looking for best, but these are my favorites.
